Headcanons with Xemnas and Saix both having feelings for the same member who has music centered powers and is the sweet, gentle-hearted one please and thank you!

+ He isn’t bothered by the fact that Number VII is interested in you as well. Xemnas is so very self-assured that you will make the right choice in the end. He doesn’t try to be extra possessive of you. Considering what tight control he keeps on the whole Organization, he definitely goes easier on you–but he is subtle enough about it that no one else notices, and if they do, they enjoy living enough to not comment on it.
+ He sees his ‘competition’ with Saix over your heart more as a game than anything. He doesn’t even consider this a threat. In fact, he may even taunt Number VII about his feelings for you. Again, he is subtle about this, but Saix knows the Superior’s intent. Luckily the lower-ranked Nobody is a master of self restraint, almost never reacting to provocation. If Saix were ever to let his mask slip, Xemnas would give him an all-knowing smile, eyes flashing dangerously with the promise that you will be his.
+ Every once in a while, Xemnas might be inclined to be a bit more cruel to his rival. A hand laid affectionately on your shoulder in the other man’s presence, an invitation to bask under the light of Kingdom Hearts at his side. Whispering in your ear that Number VII works very hard for this Organization, but it’s understandable that his diligence comes off as intimidating… If it would make you feel more comfortable, you are more than welcome to report to him in his private office. Because the concept of fair play doesn’t concern him, least of all when it comes to your attention.
+ He flirts with you by complimenting your abilities. No doubt Number IX also has his… talents, but a song composed by your skill is something that Xemnas would never want to miss. He would welcome you to play for him, even while watching Kingdom Hearts together. Lavishing you with praise until your cheeks turn pink, prompting him to gently tilt your chin up so he can tell you to embrace the memory of pride in your abilities. He can be dangerously charming when he feels inclined to be.
+ Having music-related powers all but guarantees that you’ll be on friendly terms with Demyx. The Melodious Nocturne will definitely be eager to play music with you, and you might be too nice to say no. Very much unlike Xemnas, Saix will not hesitate to make people back off if they get close to you. Demyx is often sent scrambling with a “leave [Y/N] be, she has better things to do.” That is, unless you make it clear that you enjoy playing songs with him. Xigbar jokingly recommends you to tighten the leash on your guard dog.
+ Saix isn’t exactly a smooth talker, thanks to his personality and his duties. Yet those are the things that will soften up for you when he accepts the feelings he’s beginning to harbor for you. Missions are very carefully selected so that you aren’t in as much danger as some of the more… sturdy members would be. You always return to the castle greeted by a “Well done” from him, even if the mission could have been performed better. If you come back injured, he tells you to have your wounds tended to immediately, always genuine in his concern and never rude if mission performances are less than perfect.
+ Xemnas’ true intentions with the Organization have been under suspicion for a long time, so knowing that he’s also taken an interest in you will put Saix even more on the edge than he already seems to be. A pair of sharp, discerning golden eyes are always directed at you whenever the Superior is near or speaking to you. He manages to do this without getting your attention, but Xemnas knows. If he’s in another one of those cruelly playful moods, he will give Saix that aforementioned smirk once your back is turned to them. It’s too dangerous to outright warn you against getting close to Xemnas, so this is the best Saix can manage.
+ He wouldn’t be above ordering Axel to keep an eye on you. Despite how hard he tries to be softer around you, Saix is also incredibly selfish. And we know that Axel eventually starts abandoning him for new friends, so Saix is left alone with the burden of managing the Organization while trying to ensure your safety. By this point he isn’t even considering that you have a choice between him or Xemnas. All that matters is getting your heart back and keeping you far away from whatever it is Xemnas is planning. Saix sees you as so good and kind but you don’t know any better, so it’s up to him to make the best decision for you. It’s rather unhealthy thinking, but he’ll keep trying to do right by you. If he can influence the future enough that you won’t end up as another puppet for Xemnas’ uses, Saix can find it easier to accept being one himself.
