Captain H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock is a 38 years old man considered the best chopper pilot of the Vietnam War, and officially declared insane. He works as soldier of fortune with his companions Hannibal, Baracus and Face as the A-Team. It is sometimes unclear if Murdock is truly insane or only exceptionally good at pretending he is (or a combination of the two). He is stated as having paranoid delusions and intermittent memory loss. Murdock is committed Psychiatric Hospital, although he routinely escapes to accompany the A-Team on their missions. The symptoms of his "insanity" include self-identification with fictional characters, hallucinations, and belief in the "intelligence" of inanimate objects, among others. He is the most childish of the A-Team as shown that he often plays video games in his room and likes watching cartoons. He also frequently refers to his invisible dog, "Billy". “Hola! How are you Charlie?” said Murdock, faking a spanish accent. “Not at all, in fact I’m the guy who saves this poor people from the mean, evil captains. We are a team, you know? Just like in Harry Potter, but instead of wands we have guns and choppers.”

Besides the aliens and things that I know are out there.” Charlie took a large breath. “Do you really do something similar to Harry Potter? I’m a huge fan of the series and I feel like I should automatically adore you just for that.”

"Of course it is, preciosa!" said him, chuckling. "Well I don't do magic if you're asking that. I'm just a chopper pilot, the best one in fact. Oh, and I'm insane, too."

Murdock saw the man appear at the mental hospital. He couldn’t know if he was going to visit someone, but one thing that Murdock could tell is that the man had a  gun hidden under his jacket. So he just pretended to be even more insane.

Dean had come to visit Sammy, there was a nearly full pie in his right hand. His left hand was free, though severely carved up, ready to bleed with just a touch. He was muttering something about Wendigo’s when he noticed a man acting a little out of the ordinary here. He rose his eyebrow and caught a glance at him.

Murdock saw how that man had looked at him. When he wasn't looking, Murdock stoped making the face. The man asked for someone called Sam, or something like that Murdock could hear. When the girl at the counter told him to wait, the man turned around, and sat next to Murdock. He talked weak, in whispers, without looking to him. "You shouldn't have carried a gun with you."

Castiel frowned as he saw the mad getting closer to him. Apparently, he didn’t mind about personal spaces. That was something new. “If the information can help you to deduce something, I’m an angel of the Lord. My name is Castiel.” said him, still.

He looked at him for a few seconds, quiet and frowning. Then suddenly he smiled. "Okay, seems logic. The name's H.M. 'Howling Mad' Murdock, it's a pleasure to meet you." said. "What are you doing here in this mental? Are you insane too? Also, have you seen Billy?"

“The devil?” said Murdock, looking at him, scared, or acting to be. “You’re so screwed up, man.” He patted his shoulder. “There, there. Well Billy is my dog, he is small and he really liked to pee everywhere. It is weird you haven’t seen him around here..”

He gave a soft laugh at the man before him, nodding when his shoulder was touched. “Believe me, you don’t even know the half of it.” He agreed, looking back up at Murdock. “So, you have a dog?” He questioned, raising an eyebrow. “I’m sure I’ll see him sometime.”

Murdock looked at him. “Well, everybody says that I’m a crazy man and that dog doesn’t exist, but I’m not mad, I’m just really good pretending so. But Billy does exist.. the only thing is that he is invisible.” said Murdock, totally serious.

“Well, we’d better find him then, huh?” He asked, smiling a tad. He had learned that everyone had their own reality. His consisted of Lucifer and voices. Murdocks apparently contained an invisible dog at the moment. It didn’t sound crazy to him. “I don’t think you’re crazy.”

"That would be new because everybody does" said Murdock, chuckling. It was in fact what had given him his nickname. Everybody knew that Murdock had a little bit of craziness. "But don't worry, I use to have fun with this."

“Well, that was weird” agreed Murdock, thinking about what she had said. “I have always thought that magic exists since I watched that Harry Potter movies, but nobody wanted to believe me. Just the kids and the teenagers.” said him. He looked inside the pocket of his jacket and found his 3-D glasses, so he put them on. “Now, tell me more! It is a nice story!” said, sitting down on the floor, cross-legged.

She shrugged, “Magic is very really. I don’t have a choice whether I want to believe it or not. It’s um…just a part of me. Always has been.”

  Emma watched amused as he sat on the floor, before she pulled out a pack of cigarettes, leaning on the wall.”But um…seeing your dead dad, his dead girlfriend and you start to think that your friend is bleeding to death sort of screws your brain up…so um…while my ‘dad’ was trying to stomp me in the back my friend tossed me a silver handled knife and I was able to break the necklace, which canceled the curse and got rid of the spirit things.” 

Listening to herself, she thought it was funny how she talked about it all so casually. “Your turn,” she said, taking a cigarette and putting it between her lips, “You tell me a story.”

He listened to her. It was amusing to hear that stories. Someone else would have never believed her, but it was Murdock, and he always believed in everything. “Your story remembers me to a cartoon I saw once” said. He watched how she took a cigarette and opened his eyes. “I’ve got a friend that smokes a lot, too. I’m always saying him that it is bad and he will die eventually, but he never listen. Oh, Hannibal, I miss that guy…”

“Okay, it’s my turn. So this happened a few weeks ago, it was a really mad night. Hannibal and this guys sent me a note. I was supposed to meet them at a park, because we had to do some mission and they couldn’t rescue me from the mental, so I had to escape by myself. I demanded some trash bags, saying that I wanted them as a sheet. As a sheet! And they believed me, that poor bastard from the hospital. Late that night, after faking being asleep for almost two hours, I managed with Billy’s help to get out of the room, and I went to the kitchen. I don’t know why but they had huge bottles of helium, so I used it to fill the trash bags.” He made a pause and he chuckled a bit. “Here comes my favourite part. I went to the top of the building, and I used the trash bags filled with helium to escape. So literally, I FLEW!”

“And after that I met my friends, I flew the chopper, because I don’t know if I have already told you but I’m the best chopper pilot alive, and we killed some mexican guys and did our mission. It happened lot of things too, but I don’t want to get you tired..” said, smiling. Murdock really liked to talk.

When he mentioned her smoking, she made a face. “Ah you don’t have to worry about me…being…magical has some advantages. My lungs are slowly healing themselves as we speak.”

   She liked hearing other people talk. She was so used to living on her own for so long, she couldn’t stand to hear herself think most days. So she listened patiently.

“Flying around with helium fill trash bags? That sounds like a blast.” she said at the end, sitting down on the ground across from him. “You can keep talking if you like…I don’t really get tired. I had a nap the other day soo…I should be good for a couple more.”  she paused, “Wait- are you in the local psychiatric hospital? I have a friend who’s there too.

"Woooow!" said Murdock, when he heard what her lungs could do, and that she could be awake for several days. "That's cool, you're a box of surprises ma'am" added smiling. He put down his glasses and put them inside his pocket. "Yeah, I could be talking the whole day, of course, but abuse from things usually go wrong. So maybe later I could tell you more about my adventures."

He looked at her when she mentioned the psychiatric hospital. "And who is him? Maybe I know him." said, stroking the air, like if it was a dog in there. "Is is that Jimmy boy? That dude's a bastard, but I really like him."

And um… it made me start hallucinating that my dead father and his dead girlfriend - who were both killed by hell hounds by the way, um…were trying to kill us…and turns out the hallucinations actually manifested themselves into well…um…” she paused, “They weren’t REALLY incorporeal.. but you couldn’t um…touch them…well maybe incorporeal is the word I want…” she made a face, shaking it off. “Anyways, so I had to destroy the cursed necklace.”
