                     Takas sa Talisay Kagawasan sa Sugbo

The statues of General Douglas MacArthur (Mc Arthur) in Poblacion Talisay City Cebu.

In world war 2 Mc Arthur and his allied came to the Philippines to help Filipino defeat the Japanese Soldier. Then General Douglas MacArthur (McArthur) Landed in Island in Philippines and one of island is Cebu then this statues represent of it.

Every March 26 Talisay City Cebu celebrate the Takas sa Talisay Kagawasan sa Sugbo to remind us the history of the world war 2 and how the Filipinos get the freedom from the Japanese Soldier by help the American Soldiers . Theirs a Parade of Soldiers , ROTC , and Etc. And the students of Talisay City Collage plays a role play of what the Japanese Soldiers do the Filipino people then the part when the General Douglas MacArthur (Mc Arthur) and his soldier arrive and landed in the island of Cebu. Theirs lots of Explosive scene and Bloody people scene. And giving a award to the Veterians soldiers of the Philippines. And the Speakers  the Official of Talisay City and The Representative of the Japanese. After that theirs a Volleyball Event and the Live Band. This Statue is not a Normal Statue It’s remind us to our Freedom.
