Dakoda backed up a hasty step, looking about quickly. Lord Vash—the title shoved its way into his thoughts, required even within the privacy of his own mind—stood alone in the hall. Scarce was he without a tagalong, but there he was: staring at the rain hitting the glass. His gaze shifted, spotting something Dakoda hadn’t. He placed a sharp nail to the wall and a house spider crawled on. “You’re not killing it?” Dakoda asked without meaning to as Lord Vash lifted it nearer to the ceiling. Lord Vash didn’t appear surprised by Dakoda’s presence. “You’re not scared of something so small?” If he’d been with anyone—mostly anyone—else, Dakoda would have scoffed. What was he being taken for? “They’re disgusting.”

Day 5 of @unwholesomeocweek: Unethical Experimentation

Characters are Victor and a doctor guy I've yet to actually give a name (I hate naming, fight me). Lore stuff is that Victor was born with enhanced healing and kidnapped to be experimented on. The drawing here is them testing if he can regrow limbs and missing parts (spoiler; he can't... yet). The doctor pictured here pretends to be concerned for Victor's wellbeing and act like a friend so that Victor will feel reliant on him and is more easily manipulated.
