Hi, I'm Morgan (if that is my real name), and this is my pro wrestling sideblog, @cosmic-spider (formerly @shafirakawa, eventually something else).

Likes and other stuff come from my nsfw-as-fuck main blog with a red pfp, so that's what that's about.

I post mainly about AEW, but dabble in a few other promotions like Pro Wrestling EVE, Stardom, TJPW, NJPW, CMLL, and smaller British indie promotions. (I ain't touching WWE with a ten-foot pole.)

I sometimes also post or reblog non-wrestling stuff that's significant to me, like disability stuff or trans stuff.

I post mainly about women (like Kris Statlander, Thekla, Marina Shafir, Mina Shirakawa, Toni Storm, Mercedes Moné, Alex Windsor, Jamie Hayter, Willow Nightingale, Harley Cameron, Hikaru Shida, etc.), but dabble in a few other genders like men (e.g. Kevin Knight), "men" (e.g. Clark Connors), and non-binary lesbians (e.g. Speedball Mike Bailey).

I tend to post a lot in the #aew lb tag whenever there's an episode or PPV because it's fun.

I hate Darby Allin, I hate Andrade El Idolo, I hate Chris Jericho, I hate Le Faccion Ingobernable, I hate Kamille, and I hate Tony Schiavone, and I will bitch about them until the end of time, just like I'll bitch about the mistreatment of the AEW women's division by their bookers. If you want to block that negativity or specifically seek it out, I try to tag all that with #Dialogue, so do with that what you will.

there's something in kris's avoidance of harley between grand slam + the shida street fight that is so....... like do you ever feel annoyed or repulsed by someone that has some of the traits you hate about yourself but without the self-loathing ?

when they first started hanging out it was prettty clear that harley was glomming onto kris as Big Stat Daddy (in keeping with her time as saraya's lackey) and recruiting her for the feud with penelope and megan, and since at that point kris was pouting about willows rejection in her lone wolf i-don't-need-anyone era it probably felt like she was doing harley a favor - and in return she got the chance to slip back into a protector role . and then that became a real friendship, and kris nudged harley towards willow for the tag tournament, and harley by sheer force of will* got "her parents back together"

but willow and harley were in australia for the strap match, and they were licking their wounds backstage for the 2outof3falls match at revolution . and suddenly kris had to cope with the realization that a) she needed help that b) her friends hadn't given her and c) half the reason they hadn't was because she not only hadn't asked for help but had spent the last year and a half telling everyone who would listen that she didn't need or want it - because enduring alone was what made her stronger.

so now this nerve that kris thought she'd numbed if not killed off entirely is exposed and raw and without a championship to craft an identity around her insecurity is through the roof and the thing she's been telling herself is in hindsight an obvious lie and she's stewing in resentment of her friends and her own weakness - and here comes harley . undeterred by her own title loss and somehow despite being rejected by willow completely confident that kris will be happy to tag with her and train her. and she doesn't even have the decency to be ashamed about any of it

as long as we get a long as hell mercedes vs athena ppv match its worth it. but damn it feels like it makes the most sense in terms of booking for cedes to have been the wildcard from jump, but in that case why was willow even in the bracket to begin with? and a bracket like the owen is traditionally a showcase for underbooked talent so if that's not the case and it's being kicked over to the tbs title tourney thats cool i guess but why does this all feel like willow is taking one for the team? willow and kevin both being geeked for what? for what?
