❁ muse a’s puppy has a major problem with behaving while on a leash. while out on a walk, the dog takes off after a squirrel or something. enter muse b, who manages to intercept the beast and now the dog likes them better.

❁ muse a is the rich trust fund kid who’s golfing with daddy and his associates one afternoon and muse b is the idiot at the driving range trying to learn how to golf because they bet their friend they could beat them at any sport. turns out muse b sucks more at golf than they thought because they just nailed muse a in the leg with one of their terrible hits

❁ muse a is on a rollercoaster with some friends and loses their hat on a loop-de-loop. muse b happens to be the really cute stranger at the end of the ride looking for this hat’s owner.

❁ muse a and muse b went to the same high school. they never talked much because they were on opposite ends of the social spectrum - muse a was the popular athlete while muse b was the smart one who preferred to keep to their friend group. after their first year at college, muse b is talked into going to this huge summer bash and ends up talking to muse a and wow, it turns out they have a lot more in common than they thought

❁ muse a is stuck at grandma’s beach house for the summer and doesn’t know anyone in town. when grandma leaves to run errands for a couple hours, muse a opts to stay home & go tanning. the only problem is, grandma didn’t tell them about muse b, who stops by a few times a week to help her out around the house. optional: when muse a gets the shit scared out of them by b, they could accidentally knock out b and have to deal with that mess

Creepy Prompts

At night, my cat likes to snuggle with me, but these claw marks are much too big to be theirs. Maybe I just haven’t measured their paws recently. I never seem to be able to find them when the lights are on. [Not knowing their pet is demonic au]

I personally believe my boss is a good person. They donate to charities all the time. I should rephrase, my boss is trying desperately to be fired by donating company money to charity. It never works though, they just get locked in their office more often. [Captive working au]

I love driving at night, it’s very calming being alone with a view of only twenty feet ahead. Sometimes, I feel like my headlights are only parting the sea of darkness, especially because of all of this dark sludge on the back and sides of my car. Tonight, I ran out of gas. [Literal sea of darkness au]

My mom makes cookies for me every Christmas. Sometimes she hides teeth inside and we play a guessing game of what was in it. If I win, she sends me the rest of the skeleton. [Just plain creepy au]

I can’t remember the last time I bought garlic. I keep finding it on my windowsills. [Vampire hunter trying to protect someone au]

My friends love to come over my house and sit down for a while. They don’t really listen when I talk to them though. It may not be as homey as my last house, but the limestone walls really make it feel like home. [Dead in a mausoleum au]

Okay but imagine it.

Person A of you OTP is a struggling author. Person B is an artist. They’ve both gone into the same coffee shop every morning for the past two years, both right at 7 a.m opening, but they’ve never spoken.

One day, Person A gets inspiration, so they start writing about Person B. Not anything serious, because they don’t know anything serious. They don’t even know Person B’s name. But they write it from an outsiders point of view, struggling to understand this person without ever having met them.

It turns out, there’s a lot about Person B that Person A never noticed. Their charcoal smudged hands, their devastatingly beautiful eyes, the fact that they always get hot chocolate with whipped cream and cinnamon, the way their tongue pokes out of the corner of their mouth when they draw.

After an entire novels worth of writing and weeks of watching and analyzing, Person A gets up the courage to ask Person B their name- they know practically everything else, why not?

Only, Person B gets up just as Person A walks over and they crash into each other. Person A gets coffee down their front while Person B’s sketchbook papers scatter on the floor.

All the papers are drawings of Person A.

Person A and Person B are in a long distance relationship. Person A tells Person B about a concert/sports game in another city that they are excited to go to. On the night of the concert/game, Person A finds Person B sitting in their seat.
