365 Days of Captain Swan [Day 136]
Boston Comic Con this year was so magical for me! Getting to finally meet Jennifer Morrison (having her sign @scribblecat27 s artwork), meeting childhood favorite Ariel (Jodi Benson), and the incredibly sweet (and cutest Australian ever) Rose McIver who I told I have watched basically everything she has done and that I watch iZombie with my 8yo son. She was just so unbelievable kind and polite. The loveliest lil zombie pixie!
jenmorrisonlive Finding the next project always involves a bit of romance for me. I cannot explain exactly why I fall in love with a new character and script but it happened. Totally unexpectedly, UNDER THE BRIDGE, with Cait Lancaster, landed in my lap and it was love at first read. This script is so special. I love all of the characters and their relationships. I am so honored to have the chance to bring Cait to life. And I LOVE all of the kick ass women involved. Rina Mimoun - show runner; Victoria Mahoney - director. Iâm on set for camera tests today and the wardrobe dept, hair and make up, executives, producers etc - so many inspiring woman. I am so excited to go to work with you all every day! AND, I am so excited that I get to do all of that and sleep in my own bed at night and be near my family and friends while doing what I love. So thank you @jerrybruckheimer  and and friends, and @cbs  and friends for making that dream a reality. #caitlancaster #underthebridge #happybeginnngs #caa #anonymouscontent #kimhodgert #rickgenowÂ

Meet the hunky Irish actor tipped to be the new Superman
People Magazine may have just pronounced Idris Elba as 2018âs Sexiest Man Alive but weâve got an award of our own to dish out to Irish actor Colin OâDonoghue⊠who is equally easy on the eye!
Best known for playing Hook in the Netfllix series Once Upon A Time, Colin is one-to-watch as heâs tipped to step into some very big boots very soon.
The relatively under the radar actor (to us Irish folk, funnily enough) has been tipping away filming in Vancouver for the past 6 years but he could soon become the name on everyoneâs lips as itâs rumoured he could be replacing Henry Cavill as the new Superman!
Although when EVOKE.IE grilled him at the National Lottery Good Causes Awards, the Louth man could neither confirm or deny the rumours, responding with a cheeky grin and a glint in his eye.
â⊠thatâs a dot dot dot,â he said ambiguously, as he revealed he is currently working on a âtop secret new showâ that sees him deviate from the role of Captain Killian âHookâ Jones which spring boarded him to global fame.
Once Upon A Time is currently going strong on itâs 7th series but you might also recognise Colin from his role in the Anthony Hopkins exorcism thriller, The Rite, in which he plays a sceptical priest.
From priest to a pirate to a superhero⊠itâs all in a days work for the Drogheda man!
And his talents donât stop there as the actor hinted he is taking a leaf out of Amy Hubermanâs book working on a screenplay of his own.
âI might be developing some stuff at the moment,â he said, âalthough thatâs all I can say about it!â
âIâd love to work in Ireland again, itâs just been the way fortune has fallen that Iâve been abroad but Iâd love to work here.â
âIreland is home and it always will be.â
Well Colin, youâre welcome back any time!
