Strange Days
#damn it, Eve
In May 2017, Phoebe texted me. âThere is a girl called Jodie Comer who gave an awesome taping. Super smart, dangerous, seductive and stroppy.â I watched the screen test. Jodie looked, and sounded, exactly as I had always imagined Villanelle. Poised, clear-eyed, shimmering with threat. [âŠ] A fortnight later, Nicky and I visited the set in Paris. It was July, the sun was shining, the cameras were in position, and there was Jodie, as Villanelle, marching through Palais Royal in her scarlet and white Miu Miu dress, blond hair swinging. You get, if youâre lucky, a handful of perfect moments in life. That was one of mine.

Smell me, Eve. What do I smell of to you?
Every day we suppress our emotions, we donât want to show our emotions, we might feel embarrassed about something and we try and hide it. What I love about going into filming is I could be dancing all day, I could be crying, I could be laughing; everything is about feeling and being true to how you feel. Thereâs something really fascinating that I find about that.
DID YOU GUYS KNOW OTTERS WAG THEIR TAILS LIKE DOGS WHEN THEYâRE HAPPY
first time we see the jar of freshly picked flowers, sophie is just starting her embroidery of them
the second time we see the scene, the flowers have wilted over time but still exist in full bloom in sophieâs embroidery
