A Color Wheel Design Contest
Clanheart is looking to improve its color wheel and will be holding a contest to involve the players in the creation of the game’s final color wheel. Are you interested in participating in the contest? Read the below!
GOALS: Clanheart’s color wheel is meant to provide the player with an immense spectrum of colors while also allowing the player the freedom to lock their breedings to smaller “sub-wheels.”
The main wheel should span at least one hundred colors, and should ideally blend into each other at each end (as a wheel would). This is the wheel that goes across the rainbow and through the grayscale shades, also known as the “full color wheel.”
There should be sub-wheels for each individual color (red, blue, etc.) as well as for “grayscale" and “natural.” Entrants may, at their discretion, design additional sub-wheels.
Entries should be posted in the tumblr tag “Clanheart” and include a link to a spreadsheet (Google Spreadsheets preferred) that indicates Color Name, Color Box, Color Hex, and Sub-wheels for all colors in the entrant’s wheel. For instance, the color “white” may belong to a “Grayscale” sub-wheel, as well as a “Natural” sub-wheel.
Entries must be posted by Monday, July 4th.
Three entries will be selected and posted on the Clanheart tumblr blog within one week of the contest’s end, and players will be invited to vote for the entry that they would like to become to the official Clanheart wheel. The official voting period will last for one week.
One Grand Prize winner, as selected by community vote, will be awarded with $100 USD through PayPal, Amazon Gift Cards, or Clanheart Rainbow Seeds, at the winner’s discretion.
Two Runner Ups will be awarded with $25 USD through PayPal, Amazon Gift Cards, or Clanheart Rainbow Seeds, at the winners’ discretion.
All entrants to this contest will receive a special edition Color Wheel forum icon.
