Hello! I'm Caramel/Lucifer. Whichever name's your cup of tea.

I LOVEE OC art, and am especially drawn to smaller creators! Loneliness sucks as$, but that's why I make it a point to interact with as many small creators as I can, because I am one myself. I call this my two birds, one stone philosophy ^^

I chose tumblr not just so I can find people with similar interests, but also because of the tag filtering options. Here are my tags !! >:))

I can't stop thinking about the drawing you made of Ella and I've been wondering how do you get that texture in your drawings? I think it's really neat

All the texture is from this free brush set!!!! I use them in CSP, but they're originally made from Photoshop, so the results vary a lot. Either way I totally recommend it, if your program can handle them!

Who is your favorite oc to draw

Like you just draw them way more than all of your other ocs

I don't have a favorite, per se. Some of them are inspired by real people and experiences, and I don't do favorites with real people. They all pop up in my head from time to time, but they only ever get drawn when I feel like it (which is not often enough unfortunately) There is one outlier, though Between my two OC universes, Ann is the only protagonist, which means in her story, everything connects to her in one way or the other.

I wish I had more time to design her and her friends, they've been stuck in redesign limbo 😭😭😭

I...am BACK, BABY!!! Around every July I ALWAYS have and ALWAYS will participate in artfight, no matter how busy my schedule may be. Granted, I hope I'll be able to keep up with the attacks I wanna do. ANYWAY this year I was thinking more of my miscellaneous OC's, namely my shitpost OC family (the characters in this year's roster ^^). My Shatter OC's (story-based universe) haven't had their latest redesigns yet, and they'd take so much more research than for example the characters I've already had and need NO updating.  My misc OC's will be the focus of this year's artfight! I've like so much typed in their respective bios... If you wanna learn more about them, my Artfight account is always up :)) By the end of July, expect the rest of the siblings up on the site!

I've got like...the craziest story ever. Regarding my "restriction" here on Tumblr.

So it turns out, one of my posts DID get flagged, and instead of appealing like a normal person, I immediately deleted the entire post. This is bad, why? Because now I have to rely on Tumblr staff themselves to unrestrict me. The thing with that, is that with all due respect, Tumblr doesn't give a single flying shit about some random's account. What's flagged is flagged, unfortunately.

Now, I have reached out to them, several times via their help website. I have also waited, for weeks by now. Not once did I get a single response, and I frankly cannot wait any longer. NONE of my posts are visible using the search function. My blog isn't even discoverable that way, either. I want to make it so that before I participate in this year's artfight, or even rarer, post fanart, I have to be found where people search most. Because how else am I gonna find other people?

Long story short, might DELETE this account and replace it. Using my alt caramel-inhell, hopefully I won't run into this problem anymore. I'll update more when I can, but if you'd like to keep in touch in the near future, please visit me in that blog ^^ I'd love to see you there

OCs are so fun and I think its awesome that even people who don't plan to publish a story or draw that well will have them. Its just good for you to have toys in your brain to play with.

I don't remember if I've ever done an introduction about him before, so I'm keeping this short. I took SO LONG trying to fix this one illustration and I think I finally got it right! Had so much fun making this, but I might wanna redo the chibis in the future ^^
