Omg I loved this episode! What a fun way to explore Ricks internal burden. Passion vs. Intelligence!

We all know he is the most intelligent man in the universe, but I feel like at times we forget he is a veeery sensitive guy (that tries to shut himself away, but still!)- I like this trait, because often the trope is: Super Intelligent has no emotions kind of person (easy like that!)

By the end of the ep, I really thought Rick would combine himself again because he was putting Summer and Morty in danger--- BUT!!! By the end, intelligence WAS losing tho!! So it surrendered, in a way or another (100% Summer was right KSKSKSSK) or maybe Head just understood that the fight was pointless and gave something that Body would find amusing-- (he TOTALLY did that)

I love when Rick is divided somehow like this or like Toxic Rick- It explores the character suuuch in a good way, scratches my brain right!

Also, YAY SUMMER!! I ADORED when Body gave her the little letter. YES PLEASE MORE MORE MORE!!!!!!!

honestly, i wish we'd gotten a better backstory for her instead of "my bff from preschool got his cutiemark before me so now in a cult leader" or at least. see more build up as to how that led to her being a cult leader.

but also, this is a kids show so i cant even complain that much. still though, i think there is ground to work w in terms of backstory.

in my mind, her pre-cult days are similar to the riddler from the 2022 batman movie. just very unassuming and normal on paper, but full of anger, resentment, and cunningness behind closed doors. but also, a loser in a lot of ways. i mean, this is the same person (or pony) who was fixated on a mildly upsetting memory from childhood up until early adulthood that it caused her to ruin several peoples lives lol.

also, she tends to be very awkward after being redeemed, which is RLLY funny to me considering she must have been extremely charismatic in order to garner a village sized cult. but i guess it's different putting on a mask or mirroring what other people want in order to gain something from them vs being authentic which doesn't seem to come naturally from her (ex: the episode where her and pinkie pies sister hangout and end up getting along and she ends up gushing about kites).

her lack of emotional empathy is also really cool to explore more on. she tends to have more cognitive empathy that she can push aside in favor of her ambitions and goals or in other cases, to protect her identity and worldview. very hypocritical as well.

AUGHHHH 😭😭😭 morty really is a grandpas boy... he was so much like rick this episode (for better or worse)... they gave us this moment as an apology for the entirety of the last episode i think LOL

do you think another reason rick might hate jerry is because he was in a similar position to him. as in, diane was the breadwinner of the family like how beth is while rick was busy experimenting with teleportation before rick prime. like he hates jerry as some OTHER form of projection aside from being able to be unhappy via ignorance as shown in s8 ep2. idk. lol lol lol
