i like how its one of a rare event where rick being friendly with jer first but jerry was so stressed that he didn't go along with the joke and rick immediatly goes back to being irritated like "wow 🙄ok bitch"

Rick knowing that he'll miss Jerry while he's at work makes me sad, but I wish he were better at communicating because if he told the Smiths that he feels alone fairly often, I think they'd try to spend more time with him. For all their faults, they do care about him and worry about him, even if they don't know how to say it directly.

Of course, if MORTY told his family that he feels alone most of the time, it'd be a different story.

So do we think Jerry having a job is going to actually be a permanent change that they’re going to show/reference? Or is he going to just immediately lose/quit it in the next episode? Or it just never gets mentioned again? Or maybe even Rick sabotages it on purpose

Ok so Rick being so scared of Jerry getting a job the worms came after him is funny as fuck but it‘s also. Deeply sad. This season empathizes how lonely Rick is, and Jerry was the one guy who was always around the house. They probably hung out way more than we ever knew! Now he lost that too.. first he lost Evie, now Jerry, and at the end of the season very likely Morty ☹️ and he‘ll go crazy being all alone with everyone else having their own thing going on ohhh
