My tea-brewing process:

Boil water in the kettle

Hurry to put a tea bag in the tea pot when you hear the kettle whistle because you were an idiot and forgot to prep more

Pour the boiling water into the tea pot and spill some on the stove/hand

Steep the tea until you realized it’s been fifteen minutes and oh shit I should have set a timer

Pour tea into your favorite coffee mug

Sip the tea and realize it’s too hot

Set mug down to cool

Forget you made tea

Realize what an idiot you were when you look over and see your mug

Drink cold tea
