Sam vs Eiffel tower round 2

  Last time in this situation the Phoenix force was chasing him. He remembered the panic, the desperation, and the outright fear.  The panic and desperation is here and familiar. How ever the fear was replaced with anger. Normally Sam would slow himself during reentry of the atmosphere. Normally his helmet advises him to do so. Neither happens this time.

   His helmet was trained on the Phoenix force signature which at the moment was jumping all over the globe.

-After his next jump it seems he will stay there for at least a few moments before leaving-  1

Sam only grunted through gritted teeth in response. Once he saw Clyclops appear in France he saw his chance.   Blasting through the atmosphere Sam felt his entire body glow with the heat and Nova force.   With flame and energy in hand Sam threw a hay-maker that would make warrior male dot tumblr proud.  That was until Cyclops turned around with impossible speed and control grabbing the young Novas fist.  “ Same trick twice Mr. Alexander? Bad form.”   “dont owrry i have as many tricks as i need to keep you down!” Sam began throwing as many punches as he could but he knew this was futile. Those that Cyclops didn't deflect hardly seemed to affect him.  “ You can be afraid, there's no shame in it. Deep down they all are, no matter how they want to pretend. “ “ Its your fault Scott has as hard as he does you Flarkin asshole! I am not afraid I am Flarkin pissed off!”  

Sam bolted back some several hundred meters before making the u-turn. He slammed into Clycllops driving him towards to Parisian streets. As the dust settled around them revealed hundreds of smiling skulls. Sam did not even get a chance to react to this revelation before being blasted by an optic beam that launched him back into the air. As Nova’s vision cleared from the blow he saw Cyclops one last time.  “What are you doing?  Put that tower dow-”  That was the last conscious thought before being homerunned over the Atlantic ocean.

Not all who travel are lost. But Sam is

   In space there is no direction. The best way to deal with that is usually pick a celestial body some other landmark to orientate oneself with. Sam was a little different. One his helmet gave his three axis coordinates linked to his home in Arizona. The fact that Sam usually ignored the helmet during free flying is often how he finds himself lost. Lost but never worried. Everything was peaceful here.  The small ping that brought him to the moon Titan has since disappeared and left no traces leaving Sam with nothing to do and a lot of space.    Until his helmet blared in his head.

   Sam never knowing what to do in situations by himself he contacts the Champions. They updated Nova with the Situation back home. Older Scott Summers has gone beserk and everyone is in trouble. He was just about to blast off to Earth when his helmet interfaced suddenly opened in his face.  “Sam Alexander where are you and what is the current status of the Phoenix Force?”  Scott Adsit. A pain in his butt ever since the Nova Corps reformed with out him.  “I don’t work for you guys and the situations under control!” Sam yelled  “We will decide if the situation is under control we are sending a phalanx there now.”  “If you don’t belay that order I will personally send those men back in stretchers!” Sam was not sure where inside him that came from but he didn’t have time to worry about underpowered Novas in this fight. “ The Milky Way is my System and I will take care of this.”   With that Sam shut off his communications and Zoomed towards the fight.
