And if there’s one song that summarizes it all, this would be it.
"The atoms of our bodies are traceable to stars that manufactured them in their cores and exploded these enriched ingredients across our galaxy, billions of years ago. For this reason, we are biologically connected to every other living thing in the world. We are chemically connected to all molecules on Earth. And we are atomically connected to all atoms in the universe. We are not figuratively, but literally stardust."
"There’s so much more to life than finding someone who will want you, or being sad over someone who doesn’t. There’s a lot of wonderful time to be spent discovering yourself without hoping someone will fall in love with you along the way, and it doesn't need to be painful or empty. You need to fill yourself up with love. Not anyone else. Become a whole being on your own. Go on adventures, fall asleep in the woods with friends, wander around the city at night, sit in a coffee shop on your own, write on bathroom stalls, leave notes in library books, dress up for yourself, give to others, smile a lot. Do all things with love, but don't romanticize life like you can’t survive without it. Live for yourself and be happy on your own. It isn’t any less beautiful, I promise." —Emery Allen #TodaysMantra

This is "Jukebox the Ghost "I Love You Always Forever" (Donna Lewis Cover)" by Icon International on Vimeo, the home for high quality videos…
This cover is amazing.
I forgot Every single thing The words The feelings It was like I was in a deep sleep, dreaming. Awakened in the midst of a sandstorm, lost.
But no. I did not forget. I chose not to remember.
"She had always suffered from a vague restlessness, a longing for adventure that severely was the result of reading too many novels"Â
She Used To Be Mine Sara Bareilles
[Verse 1] It's not simple to say Most days I don't recognize me With these shoes and this apron That place and it's patrons Have taken more than I've gave them It's not easy to know I'm not anything like I used be Although it's true I was never attention sweet center But I still remember that girl
[Chorus] She's imperfect but she tries She is good but she lies She is hard on herself She is broken and won't ask for help She is messy but she's kind She is lonely, most of the time She is all of this, mixed up And baked in a beautiful pie She is gone, but she used to be mine
[Verse 2] And it's not what I asked for Sometimes life just slips in through a backdoor Carves out the person and makes you believe it's all true And now I've got you And you're not what I asked for If I'm honest, I know I would give it all back For a chance to start over And rewrite an ending or two For the girl that I knew
[Verse 3] Would be reckless, just enough Who get hurt But who learns how to toughen up, when she's bruised And gets used by a man who can't love And then she'll get stuck and be scared Of the life that's inside her Growing stronger each day Til it finally reminds her To fight just a little To bring back the fire in her eyes That's been gone, but it used to be mine Used to be mine
[Outro] She is messy, but she's kind She is lonely, most of the time She is all of this, mixed up, and baked in a beautiful pie She is gone, but she used to be mine
May the next few months be a period of magnificent transformation.
It is time. (via knitting-books)
I’m working for an international company. And I’m trying to be assertive at work. Many suggest that I should talk loudly during meetings or presentations. Mostly, I just agree and shut my thoughts. I can’t stand up for my own decisions, even though I had good reasons for making them.
Irony is that, whenever I’m with my friends, I can be sarcastic and obnoxious and crazy and say things without thinking about them. For some odd reason that very confidence doesn't transfer to the workplace. It’s especially frustrating because I know that there’s this stereotype of quiet, agreeable Asian females.
and I’m fulfilling it.

Can't Fight This Feeling (REO Speedwagon) - Original Piano Arrangement by MAUCOLI
I'm not even after continuity anymore; just... Just something that makes sense.
Gone Girl (2014)
We light up the world.
I used to think I was the strangest person in the world but then I thought there are so many people in the world, there must be someone just like me who feels bizarre and flawed in the same ways I do. I would imagine her, and imagine that she must be out there thinking of me too. Well, I hope that if you are out there and read this and know that, yes, it’s true I’m here, and I’m just as strange as you.
