Until youâre back home
It was a rare night of complete bliss, no distractions from the club or any other âbusinessâ issues. Reggie and I were sitting on the sofa putting the world to rights, Iâm the only person Reg can truly open up to about anything without the fear of being judged.
âYou know; sometimes I think about leaving this all behind, going straight. Could you imagine it? Me and you C, living above board?â
I raised an eyebrow, âNoâ I laughed. He chuckled.
âReally? You canât picture it at all love?â
âI mean I know it sounds bad, but weâre so good at being a criminals itâs all weâve really ever known. What else would we be good at?â I said laughing.
âYou never know C, I could be a dab hand at something like decorating or cooking for all we knowâ
âYou lost me at the cooking bit Reg, there is no way that will ever happen. Iâm lucky to have a house to come home to after some of your kitchen fiascosâ.
This made us both laugh, it was no secret that Reggie wasnât the most domestic person in the world, he did try though bless him.
âSeriously though C, itâs you I feel for. I mean how many times have you been brought in for questioning about something me or Ronâs done? The last time it was hitting 26 hours they had you in that interrogation room. I donât want that type of life for you, you deserve better than thatâ he was being completely sincere, he hated it when I was brought in for questioning and felt the stress it put me under when we started dating was his fault.
I cope with it better now mind you, they say practise makes perfect donât they? I guess you could call me an expert at playing the âinnocent housewifeâ act, itâs not something I am proud of right enough. Obviously I didnât spend my childhood dreaming of growing up to be a business woman who broke the law to get to where she is, I certainly didnât dream of falling in love with a criminal, a man who I know I would do anything for, anything to keep him by my side even if it meant lying under oath.
A light crashing noise outside brought me out of my train of thought, I looked at Reggie sitting next to me, my eyes widened. He got up sharply from the couch, picking his gun up from the table situated beside us, and made his way to the kitchen to go and see who was there, it sounded like the gate out the back of our house.
âI swear to god if thatâs Albie, Iâm going to go crazy, he is not camping out on this sofa and eating all our food for days on end againâ
There was an uncertain silence, surely if it was Albie he would of said so by now right? Or if it was Ron he would of grunted a âguess whoâ with a light chuckle like he always does.
âBabe? who is it?â I said after a few seconds. Still nothing. I was starting to get worried. I stood up slowly and carefully walked down along the hallway to the kitchen. Reggie was aware of my presence, he spoke softly âI donât want you to panic okay love? I want you to remain absolutely calmâ
Now I was really freaking out. What was there to panic about? should I be panicking? Why was I to remain calm? That horrible distant sickly pain appeared in my stomach and all these thoughts started rushing through my mind. Before I even had time to rationalise, there was a firm knock at the back door.
Reggie opened it to reveal a sea of uniformed men. I recognised the one at the front, the chief so to speak, it was none other than Nipper Read, the very man responsible for questioning me for hours on end. He smirked at me as he coolly announced âReginald Kray, you are under arrest on suspicion of protection racketeering, you do not have to say anything, but it may harm your defence if you do not mention when questioned something which you later rely on in court. Anything you do say may be given in evidence.â
My whole body went numb. It felt like the blood inside me had went ice cold. I felt completely powerless, not to mention the pain in my heart. I felt a lump in my throat like I had dry swallowed a large pill, thatâs when the tears started flooding down my face.
I grabbed Reggieâs hand pulling him towards me and wrapping my arms around his neck. He held me for what felt like only seconds, but was probably much longer, running his hand through my hair as I cried, he lowered his head to my ear and said âeverythingâs going to be okay Carmen, I promiseâ
âDonât make promises you canât keep Krayâ snapped Nipper Read behind us. Nor I or Reggie batted an eyelid, he wasnât worth it.
âI love you so much, okay baby? Weâll be back together soonâ he said quitely into my ear.
âI love you so muchâ I said through shaky breaths. He looked down into my eyes before pressing a soft kiss against my forehead.
I couldnât let go of him, until they were physically pulling him away from me. I stood at the back door with my hand over my mouth as they led him away, the cold winter air blew against my face causing me to shiver but nothing compared to the pain I felt in my chest. I watched as they put him in the police car, I knew then I had to be strong. Iâm not like the other girlfriends, I knew what I was getting myself into from the very beginning. It was time to call the family lawyer, practise my âI donât know what youâre talking about officerâ act and make sure I got Reg out of there as soon as possible. He didnât belong in a prison cell, there was only one placed my Reggie belonged, and it was at home with me.
âCause when heâs on the line the world stands stillâ
âHowâs the business holding up then love?â Reggie mutters into the phone.
âYeah things are going well babe, me and Ron are working well together, we are a better team than I expectedâ I laughed, trying to make light of the less than optimal situation. A slight chuckle came from the other end of the phone, follow by a lengthy silence. Reggie struggled to express himself often, but he didnât want to seem cold towards the woman who had stood by him through everything, so he stepped out of his comfort zone.
âAnd um... what about you then? How are you holding up?â I sighed deeply, I was trying to avoid telling him how I was really feeling, I didnât want him to feel guilty about leaving me. On the other hand, I definitely did not want to brush off my feelings and make him feel like I didnât care. I have experienced having a loved one inside after my father was imprisoned for a short period of time when I was 12 for protection racketeering, so this isnât my first prison phone call. This seemed different though, the man on the other end of the phone was Reggie, my soul mate, my literal other half, I just needed to speak from my heart.
âItâs been hard, I mean we knew it would be. During the day I can keep myself busy and try not to think about it. But itâs the nights that kill me Reg, sleeping without you is horrible.â He sighed, he felt guilty.
âIâm sorryâ he said after a few seconds. It was heartfelt, I could tell. After multiple late night heart to hearts and deep conversations about life I could tell when Reggie was being real with me. The last thing I wanted though was for him to feel guilty about leaving me, it wasnât really his fault, I know what I signed up for being with him and in all honesty itâs a small price to pay for the happiness I have when weâre at our best, those nights where we walk home from the club hand in hand instead of taking the car, with not a care in the world, when we lay awake at night talking about the future, those are the moment that make everything seem worth it.
âItâs alright babe, you know Iâve never blamed you for any of this. You are what you are and thatâs what I feel in love with, I donât want you to feel guilty because Iâm out here without you, I want you to focus on fighting through like I know you always do and keeping your nose clean best you can so I can be back in your arms in no timeâ he chuckled, heâd never been very good at âkeeping his nose cleanâ to be honest Iâm surprised this is only his second time being inside, considering I know all the things him and Ron have got up to over the years, in a way weâve been pretty lucky up until now.
âIâll try my best aâright? I gotta go, this guard is breathing down my kneck, typical isnât it. I love you Carmen. And you know what love, I promise when this is all over Iâll make you Mrs Krayâ
I chuckle at his promise, we had always spoke about getting married but with one thing or another keeping us busy weâve never had the time. We always knew we would right enough, no doubt about that, weâve been together since I was 18, and I can honestly say no man has ever made me feel the way he does.
âIâll hold you to that Kray, I love you babyâ I laugh into the phone. With that the line goes dead, until next time. Inside I hope the next time I talk to him he will be phoning to tell me heâs getting out, I can only hope for now that the man I love will be free and back home with me in no time.

Iâm really sorry for my absence this past week, i havenât abandoned this blog, Iâve just been super busy with family stuff, studying and honestly just taking some time off for myself.
I hope you all understand, and I will try to start posting again in the next few days!

On one Sunday morning in the middle of July, two very excited children were helping their Papa make a Victoria sponge cake with homemade jam and cream from scratch.
Alfie Jr and Aliza had been up since 7am, yapping about Nana and Granddad and Uncle Reg and Aunty Carmen coming to visit.
âLook âere, darlinâ, youâve got t'mix it like this, alrighâ? Or it wonât cook right.â Alfie Sr said to Aliza, all the while wondering why heâd let his 8 year old son and 4 year old daughter help him with something like this. The pure delight on the kidsâ faces said it all though, and it made the mess and the mischief worth it.
âMama! Are they here yet?âJunior shrieked, dropping a mixture doused spoon on the kitchen floor. Aliza copied him, as she often did.
âI donât think Nana will be impressed by y'throwinâ spoons around, will she?â Polly said, feigning a serious face as she ruffled Juniorâs dark hair.
âLittle monsters! The pair of âem!â Alfie Sr laughed. Aliza giggled as he picked her up and wiped the cake mix off her beaming face.
âNow, this is very serious business, ainât it, Lizzie? Weâve got t'knock âem dead with our creations, righâ, 'cause that Uncle Reg oâ yours is very fussy.â Alfie said.
Aliza nodded sternly and her brow wrinkled with concentration as she watched her dad pour the batter into a cake tin.
'Can I put it in the oven, Papa? Mama, can I?â Junior whined.
'Alrighâ. Câm'ere, darlinâ.â Polly said. Of course, she wouldnât let her son go anywhere near the oven alone, so put the oven mitts on his hands and held his arms firmly. He smiled proudly when it was gently put on the top shelf, like heâd done it all by himself.
'Good job, mate. Jusâ like 'is dad ainât he? Lit'le Baker.â Alfie Sr joked.
Aliza, who was still in her fatherâs arms, heard a car pull up the long driveway.
She gasped with excitement.
âTheyâre here!â
'Theyâre bloody early.'Polly muttered.
She walked out front to see her mum, Violet, and her dad, Charles get out of Reg and Carmenâs car.
'Whatâre y'doing here so early? The cake ainât even ready yet!â She mock scolded.

âYou know what Reg always says Pol, Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wiseâ Carmen imitates Reggie.
Violet laughs, her son has been saying this for as long as she can remember. âAlways been the same my Reg, up at the crack of dawn, getting up to mischiefâ Violet says.
âYou know me Mum, always like to be up and ready, and donât be getting on at me, if this one had her way, sheâd still be back at the house faffing about in front of the mirror debating on whether her outfit looks alrightâ Reggie replies. He wouldnât have it any other way though, his Carmen always liked to look her best, this stems from her knowledge and love of fashion.ïżŒ
Carmen rolls her eyes, god knows she loves that man but if one thing annoys her about him itâs his constant need to be early for everything and to rush her out the door in the morning to achieve this.
âAnways, itâs great to see you Pol, you look amazing as always, my mum and dad send their loveâ she hugs her sister-in-law.
They were such a close family, ever since Carmen started dating Reggie she has been welcomed into the family with open arms. No doubt they had worries at first that she would just be another one of his hookups that came to his club and was only interested in him for the status and money. Of course the falseness of this became apparent not long into Carmen and Reggieâs relationship, you only had to see the way they look at one another or how heartbroken she is when Reggie has to âgo awayâ that there is a great deal of love there.
If thereâs one thing Carmen loves more than anything, itâs spending time with her family. They donât all get to be together very often with her and Reggie being so busy with the clubs and other ventures, and of course Polly and Alfie being so busy with their business. So when it does happen itâs very special and they try to make the most of it.
âWhere are the kids? I canât wait to see them itâs been weeksâ Carmen asks.
Alfie Jr made a beeline for his favourite aunt.
'Aunty Carmen!â
He hugged her legs tight, as if he hadnât seen her in hundreds of years.
Little Aliza, for all her excitement earlier on, shyly snuggled her head into Alfie Srâs shoulder. She was an enigma, was Aliza. Loud mouth, usually, dark hair and a steely gaze made her up, and Polly had always thought she looked like more of a Kray than she did.
'Say 'ello to everybody, Lizzie.â Alfie Sr coaxed. She peeked through her fingers at Violet Sr, and beamed delightedly. She held out her arms to her Nana.
'Uncle Reg, can I have a go in your car, please?â Junior pleaded as he latched on to Regâs hand.
âHey little man, Iâm sure your uncle Reg wouldnât mind taking you round the block in the car, would you love?â Carmen looks up from her young nephew to her husband, sheâs always had a close bond with Alfie Jr.
âHey Aliza, how are you sweetie?â Aliza was slightly harder to reach, she was quite reserved when it came to anyone outside of Alfie and Polly, which Carmen respected, she trusted that Aliza would eventually become slightly more chatty with her it would just take some time.
âLook whoâs came to see his big cousinsâ Carmen turned around to open the car door and remove a sleeping Baby George from his car seat, must be the first time right enough, she thought. She and Reggie had been up basically all night taking turns of feeding and cooing the little one, parenting was tougher than she thought it would be but she had no regrets, not when those little blue eyes looked up at her with such love.
âWhat do you think Pol? Will I be getting anymore nieces or nephews anytime soon?â
'I doubt it.â Polly laughed, as they all ventured inside.
The house, even though it was quite large, was always referred to as 'the cottageâ. It was cosy and warm- decorated with stuff Alfie and Polly had either made themselves or found at markets. It was homely, and vastly different from the elegance and glamour of London homes. It had been bought by The Solomons because it had 5 bedrooms. They had always planned to have more children, but after Alizaâs difficult birth theyâd decided against it. Polly had been quite poorly for a while after Aliza was delivered by emergency C-Section, and she never ever wanted to go through it again.
'I want Papa.â Aliza suddenly sobbed. She was sitting on her Nanaâs lap at the kitchen table.
'Heâs gone to check on the chickens, darlinâ. Papa will be back in a minute.â Polly consoled.
'I WANT TO SEE THE CHICKENS WITH PAPA.â Alizaâs little voice grew more and more distraught as she frantically tried to clamber down from Violetâs lap.
'Lizzie! Youâve got to be a good girl, ainât you? No more tears.â Polly said.
This made Aliza worse. She threw herself on the floor, and screamed even louder for her father. She grew red in the face with tears streaming down her cheeks.
'Carmen, would you take her round the back to see Alfie? Iâve got me hands full 'ere.â Polly asked.
âOf course Pol. Come on Love, letâs go and find Daddyâ Carmen takes Alizaâs hand and leads her out of the kitchen into the garden. Poor soul Carmen thinks, she knows what itâs like to be a Daddyâs girl, sheâs been one her whole life, she was the exact same growing up whenever her father had to leave for work or even worse that short time he spent in prison, she was always absolutely devastated, would stop eating and stay in her room crying, she could sympathise with the young girl.
She looks around the garden and sees Alfie picking the eggs, Alizaâs face lights up immediately at the sight of her father, Carmen finds it crazy how fast of a turnaround that was, tantrum to complete content in seconds. She lets go of Carmenâs hand and runs into her fatherâs arms, he lifts her up for a hug.
âSorry Alf, someone couldnât wait a few more minutes for you to come backâ Carmen says.
He just chuckles, he was used to his extra shadow by now. Aliza helps him collect the rest of the eggs from the chicken coop. Carmen looks on smiling, she couldnât wait for George to be old enough to have his own little personality and help his Daddy with jobs around the house, Reggie had definitely taken his role of being a father very seriously he has been so hands on already; spending more time at home, getting up for the night feeds after being at the clubs late etc.
âIâm going to grab the baby. Heâll want to see the chickensâ Carmen says as she nips back inside to get the little one. He loves animals, when he was only a few weeks old, Reggie took them to London Zoo, and ever since then his interest has grown. Moments later Carmen returns carrying little George.
âLook Georgie, say hello to the chickensâ she says.
He was such a content baby Carmen thought and so beautiful but of course she was biased, For months peopleâs opinions have been changing, some saying he looks like Carmen because of his dark locks but others saying he looks like Reggie because of those chocolate brown eyes.
âSo what do you think Alfie? Who does he look look like me or Reg?â Carmen asks.
'Heâs just like his mum, ainât he? Lit'le heartbreaker.â Alfie smiled. Aliza, who a second ago had been distracted by the chickens, was at once captivated by George. The tiny girl reached up to touch the babyâs hand and smiled when he babbled.
'Can I have a lit'le brother or sister, Papa?'She asked.
'No, darlinâ. Mama was poorly, wasnât she, when she 'ad you. She doesnât want t'do it again.â Alfie explained.
Lizzieâs face crumpled and more tears welled in her eyes.
'Eh, donât be a brat, Lizzie. Dry y'eyes.'Alfie said sternly. And, as if by magic, the tears stopped and Alizaâs mood lifted. Alfie could spot her crocodile tears a mile off.
'So, you copinâ alrighâ with the baby? Reg alrighâ is he?â
âAw Alfie youâre too kind, yeah weâre getting there, as expected itâs took some adjusting, but tips from Violet and Polly have made a world of difference. Reg is good, itâs been a learning curve for him just as much as me, but heâs learning everyday and weâre on this journey together which is a bonusâ Carmen answers.
Carmen feels so bad for Polly and what she went through when she has Aliza, she knows what itâs like because her mother went through the same thing, she had to have an emergency c-section when she gave birth to Carmen. She looks down at the baby boy in her arms, she canât help but want to have lots more, she just hopes that her next birth is as straight forward as her first, even although she was in labour for nearly two full days, and really only had massages and hot showers as pain relief with it being a home birth, she never required any extra assistance, luckily.
Alfie asks if they are planning on expanding their family.
âWe do want more in the future, but itâs finding the time Alf, we already have to plan everyone around this little one, I can only imagine what it would be like with another, probably double the planning and stress right? I donât know how you and Pol do it with two and them being quite close in age, they donât come with a handbook do they?â she laughs.
'Lit'le bloody rascals, they are.â Alfie laughed.
Aliza gasped.
'Iâm telling Mama you swore!â
'See what I mean?â Alfie sighed. He put his hand into his pocket, pulled out his wallet, and handed Aliza a ÂŁ5 note.
'Donât tell Mama.â He grinned, tapping the side of his nose. Aliza pretended to zip her mouth shut and shoved the fiver in her pastel blue buckle-up shoes.
Alfie turned back to Carmen.
'If you and Reg ever want a night t'yourselves, me and Pol would be 'appy to babysit for ya.â He offered. He looked back at Lizzie, who was busy throwing bird feed around and waving to Georgie.
'And donât worry about what 'appened with Pol 'appeninâ to you. Youâll be fine, luv.'He reassured.
âAw thatâs really sweet Alfie, I might take you up on that offer when George is a little older, the way things are just now I wouldnât want his crying keeping you and the kids up all nightâ Carmen says.
She looks over to her niece, Aliza had always been so good with George, she always wanted to help take care of him which was so adorable. Carmen would love a little girl some day, someone to pass on her knowledge of fashion to and to teach her to grow up to be a strong independent women just like her mum is.
âIâm going to go inside and see if Pol needs any help, sâbeen lovely talking to you Alfâ she says, Alfie nods and says he will be in soon as he goes to get the rest of the eggs with Aliza. Carmen heads back inside with the baby cradled in her arms. Reggie appears at the kitchen door and holds his arms out to take the baby and by the looks of it has already prepared the little oneâs afternoon bottle, she carefully places him into his daddyâs arms.
âAnything I can do to help Pol?â Carmen asks as she turns around to face her sister-in-law.

'I want Papa.â Aliza suddenly sobbed. She was sitting on her Nanaâs lap at the kitchen table.
'Heâs gone to check on the chickens, darlinâ. Papa will be back in a minute.â Polly consoled.
'I WANT TO SEE THE CHICKENS WITH PAPA.â Alizaâs little voice grew more and more distraught as she frantically tried to clamber down from Violetâs lap.
'Lizzie! Youâve got to be a good girl, ainât you? No more tears.â Polly said.
This made Aliza worse. She threw herself on the floor, and screamed even louder for her father. She grew red in the face with tears streaming down her cheeks.
'Carmen, would you take her round the back to see Alfie? Iâve got me hands full 'ere.â Polly asked.
âOf course Pol. Come on Love, letâs go and find Daddyâ Carmen takes Alizaâs hand and leads her out of the kitchen into the garden. Poor soul Carmen thinks, she knows what itâs like to be a Daddyâs girl, sheâs been one her whole life, she was the exact same growing up whenever her father had to leave for work or even worse that short time he spent in prison, she was always absolutely devastated, would stop eating and stay in her room crying, she could sympathise with the young girl.
She looks around the garden and sees Alfie picking the eggs, Alizaâs face lights up immediately at the sight of her father, Carmen finds it crazy how fast of a turnaround that was, tantrum to complete content in seconds. She lets go of Carmenâs hand and runs into her fatherâs arms, he lifts her up for a hug.
âSorry Alf, someone couldnât wait a few more minutes for you to come backâ Carmen says.
He just chuckles, he was used to his extra shadow by now. Aliza helps him collect the rest of the eggs from the chicken coop. Carmen looks on smiling, she couldnât wait for George to be old enough to have his own little personality and help his Daddy with jobs around the house, Reggie had definitely taken his role of being a father very seriously he has been so hands on already; spending more time at home, getting up for the night feeds after being at the clubs late etc.

He loves animals, when he was only a few weeks old, Reggie took them to London Zoo, and ever since then his interest has grown. Moments later Carmen returns carrying little George.

'Heâs just like his mum, ainât he? Lit'le heartbreaker.â Alfie smiled. Aliza, who a second ago had been distracted by the chickens, was at once captivated by George. The tiny girl reached up to touch the babyâs hand and smiled when he babbled.
'Can I have a lit'le brother or sister, Papa?'She asked.
'No, darlinâ. Mama was poorly, wasnât she, when she 'ad you. She doesnât want t'do it again.â Alfie explained.
Lizzieâs face crumpled and more tears welled in her eyes.
'Eh, donât be a brat, Lizzie. Dry y'eyes.'Alfie said sternly. And, as if by magic, the tears stopped and Alizaâs mood lifted. Alfie could spot her crocodile tears a mile off.
'So, you copinâ alrighâ with the baby? Reg alrighâ is he?â
âAw Alfie youâre too kind, yeah weâre getting there, as expected itâs took some adjusting, but tips from Violet and Polly have made a world of difference. Reg is good, itâs been a learning curve for him just as much as me, but heâs learning everyday and weâre on this journey together which is a bonusâ Carmen answers.
Carmen feels so bad for Polly and what she went through when she has Aliza, she knows what itâs like because her mother went through the same thing, she had to have an emergency c-section when she gave birth to Carmen. She looks down at the baby boy in her arms, she canât help but want to have lots more, she just hopes that her next birth is as straight forward as her first, even although she was in labour for nearly two full days, and really only had massages and hot showers as pain relief with it being a home birth, she never required any extra assistance, luckily.
Alfie asks if they are planning on expanding their family.
âWe do want more in the future, but itâs finding the time Alf, we already have to plan everyone around this little one, I can only imagine what it would be like with another, probably double the planning and stress right? I donât know how you and Pol do it with two and them being quite close in age, they donât come with a handbook do they?â she laughs.
On one Sunday morning in the middle of July, two very excited children were helping their Papa make a Victoria sponge cake with homemade jam and cream from scratch.
Alfie Jr and Aliza had been up since 7am, yapping about Nana and Granddad and Uncle Reg and Aunty Carmen coming to visit.
âLook âere, darlinâ, youâve got t'mix it like this, alrighâ? Or it wonât cook right.â Alfie Sr said to Aliza, all the while wondering why heâd let his 8 year old son and 4 year old daughter help him with something like this. The pure delight on the kidsâ faces said it all though, and it made the mess and the mischief worth it.
âMama! Are they here yet?âJunior shrieked, dropping a mixture doused spoon on the kitchen floor. Aliza copied him, as she often did.
âI donât think Nana will be impressed by y'throwinâ spoons around, will she?â Polly said, feigning a serious face as she ruffled Juniorâs dark hair.
'Little monsters! The pair of 'em!â Alfie Sr laughed. Aliza giggled as he picked her up and wiped the cake mix off her beaming face.
'Now, this is very serious business, ainât it, Lizzie? Weâve got t'knock 'em dead with our creations, righâ, 'cause that Uncle Reg oâ yours is very fussy.â Alfie said.
Aliza nodded sternly and her brow wrinkled with concentration as she watched her dad pour the batter into a cake tin.
'Can I put it in the oven, Papa? Mama, can I?â Junior whined.
'Alrighâ. Câm'ere, darlinâ.â Polly said. Of course, she wouldnât let her son go anywhere near the oven alone, so put the oven mitts on his hands and held his arms firmly. He smiled proudly when it was gently put on the top shelf, like heâd done it all by himself.
'Good job, mate. Jusâ like 'is dad ainât he? Lit'le Baker.â Alfie Sr joked.
Aliza, who was still in her fatherâs arms, heard a car pull up the long driveway.
She gasped with excitement.
âTheyâre here!â
'Theyâre bloody early.'Polly muttered.
She walked out front to see her mum, Violet, and her dad, Charles get out of Reg and Carmenâs car.
'Whatâre y'doing here so early? The cake ainât even ready yet!â She mock scolded.

Violet laughs, her son has been saying this for as long as she can remember. âAlways been the same my Reg, up at the crack of dawn, getting up to mischiefâ Violet says.

Carmen rolls her eyes, god knows she loves that man but if one thing annoys her about him itâs his constant need to be early for everything and to rush her out the door in the morning to achieve this.

They were such a close family, ever since Carmen started dating Reggie she has been welcomed into the family with open arms. No doubt they had worries at first that she would just be another one of his hookups that came to his club and was only interested in him for the status and money. Of course the falseness of this became apparent not long into Carmen and Reggieâs relationship, you only had to see the way they look at one another or how heartbroken she is when Reggie has to âgo awayâ that there is a great deal of love there.
If thereâs one thing Carmen loves more than anything, itâs spending time with her family. They donât all get to be together very often with her and Reggie being so busy with the clubs and other ventures, and of course Polly and Alfie being so busy with their business. So when it does happen itâs very special and they try to make the most of it.
âWhere are the kids? I canât wait to see them itâs been weeksâ Carmen asks.
