Baby Kitty, immortalized in two of my books, one as a cameo as the sassy J’Austen and another with her real name “Baby Kitty, has gone to see her brothers and sisters. We were with her until her last breath. At one point, she even reached out and touched my hand. She had a good long life, lived in five states, had lots of brothers and sisters she terrorized and then outlived. She had a great family of two boys and a mom and dad who took care of her, brushed her, held her while on computer, played snake shot gun with her… All after she was found on a street, then kept, not taken to the pound. She lived past seventeen. She will always be with us in memory, and I’m sure we’ll find her hair on everything we own forever.
