I do get kinda miffed when I see people drawing Carol Danvers with a skinny supermodel body. 

I just - no. She’s a soldier, not a supermodel. She’s got an athlete’s body if anything, give her fucking muscles. The force and power she uses hourly would fucking disintegrate someone with that little muscle/fat on them.

Carol Danvers, the current Captain, started life as a supporting character for Marvel’s first Captain Marvel. Introduced in Marvel Super-Heroes No. 13, she was a U.S. Air Force pilot and potential love interest for the hero who eventually got sidelined following an accident during one of Mar-Vell’s adventures. Years later, it was revealed that that accident had actually altered Danvers’ DNA and given her superpowers, prompting her to take up the superheroic identity Ms. Marvel. [ I also got this (and some other ms marvel books but all from the Reed run and none as cool as this sorry) today. This is Carol’s first ever appearance as Binary–I paid $2 for it (yes it’s marked at $6), and it’s worth $20-30 on eBay, not graded. Now I don’t think this would be graded too too high, but it’s definitely better than my copy of Avengers 200, and probably in comparable condition to my copy of Ms Marvel #1 ]
