The really unfortunate thing about mental health progress is that sometimes you realize you've made it in the form of "wow, I haven't felt this bad in a fucking while"

Spoilers and theories for tlovm s4 finale:
I so desperately wanted either Pike or the Everlight to be the ones to resurrect Grog. And while I think it's a long shot, I do think it's still a possibility.
He came back in direct response to Pike's question 'Who heals me?' And yes, while we see the purple lines Vecna placed on him glowing and fading, Grog's already up and moving. Maybe the Everlight brought him back, and is dispelled the net Vecna placed on him. The lines do glow a very white colour, with some purple tinge - not the dark purple with red that we see Vecna's magic being.
Maybe it's just my hope that the Everlight herself gets some redemption- she was always the beacon of hope in c1, and now she's being portrayed as a deadbeat parent! Perhaps literally, if Pike is in fact descended from the Everlight's mortal children in Downfall! Though I do feel part of that is Pike stopped reaching out, out of fear of rejection, after she rejected the Everlight in the dragon battle, as much as the Everlight no longer reaching out to her.
I just want Pike to get back to her hopecore badass self, I want HER to realise the resurrection powers she's known for in the campaigns world, and I want her forgiving celestial mum to back her up.
Just watched Adam Conover (of Adam Ruins Everything) make such a solid point that I think we should spread far and wide. Yes, having AI write your emails is lazy, sure, but people love being lazy. We need to really emphasize that sending AI emails (or using AI responses on social media, or publishing AI flyers, or or or) is rude.
It's rude. You're making someone take their time to read something you couldn't bother to write. You're telling them they were so unimportant you couldn't be bothered to actually take the time to say something yourself. And frankly, you're lying about it while you're at it.
It's rude.
pick whatever option the person you're following who reblogged this post didn't pick. if they didn't say in the tags what they picked or if you're seeing the original post and not a reblog, pick at random instead.

there are four human activities and they are crafting, stories, math, and fucking around. whatever you're doing is at least one of those four.
An engineer and an anti-vaxxer walk up to a bridge
Seeing as the bridge is the only crossing over a notoriously crocodile-infested river, the two prepare to cross. Just before they set foot on the bridge the anti-vaxxer halts the engineer.
- How safe is it to cross this bridge exactly? - he asks
- 99.97% - the engineer replies confidently
The anti-vaxxer thinks for a moment before turning around:
- Guess I’m swimming then…
change your god damn url OP
I'm a pacifist like institutionally but I'm absolutely certain that violence solves at least some problems on a much smaller level. I don't believe in wars or nuclear weapons or military campaigns I do believe in the power of that guy who punched the nazi in the face so hard his entire media presence immediately crumbled to dust
What I say: I’m good.
What I am thinking: Why are Dracula and Mina almost always depicted with some weird romance thing? Whether that be an actual romantic relationship or some weird psychic vision before they meet (not talking about the one afterwards), in adaptations, there’s frequently something of that nature happening. They meet a grand total of like twice and one of them was Dracula making the psychic link thing to spy on The Gang(TM). That wasn’t meant to be sexy, it was meant to be scary and suspenseful. Besides maybe reading “sexy” into that scene, there is literally nothing romantic about them. Also, Mina already has Jonathan! He’s a way better partner! And they’re already super in love!
Always bear in mind that there is absolutely no legitimate evidence that Luigi was actually the one who killed the insurance company guy.
Of course he wasn't. He was at a party with me that day.
No but like literally, actually. All bits aside.
He didn't do it.
The cops very clearly planted evidence on him because they had to make an arrest because all eyes were on them and whoever actually did the deed was making them look stupid.
Why would the real killer hero have kept the weapon on his person and traveled two states over while carrying it and a manifesto in his bag, conveniently turning the crime into a federal matter? The same guy whose bag they found in a park, filled with monopoly money? Why did the police turn off their bodycams, take Luigi's stuff, drive a block away, turn their bodycams back on, go back into the restaurant, and then arrest him?
From the moment of his arrest, even left-of-center media has been presuming his guilt without examining anything (e.g. calling him "the killer" instead of "alleged" or "accused") and then when I say he didn't do it, the nearest person chimes in with some quip that tells me they think he did do it but should go free anyway. Don't get me wrong, I would have the same attitude if he had done it. But he didn't. It makes me feel like the only sane person in the world, even among my staunchly leftist friends.
