i still can’t get over the fact that dylan made his dad drink.

his dad who, despite being an absolutely terrible father, was making an achievement towards his goal of sobriety.

never in a million years read this as me saying that dylan should forgive his father, that is not it at all. however, that it was accepted that he got his dad to DRINK, destroying both his sobriety and his life, just to test him was wrong.

there are a million ways that casualty could have gotten them to cover that. he could have committed to something long term, like seeing dylan or writing letters or doing ANYTHING

but no, for the drama, they have dylan make his father drink

brian keogh is messed up and was a terrible father, but that in no way was an acceptable way for someone to behave - no matter how low you are, you don’t bring others down with you

(PS if this was connie with her father, i would 100% be saying the same thing, surprisingly enough i like dylan particularly with sam lol bantz, and i’d be saying it with any other character. this isn’t a character assassination)
