Behind me, I heard the same man asking:
“For God’s sake, where is God?”
And from within me, I heard a voice answer:
“Where He is? This is where—hanging here from this gallows. . .”

i’ll never read this book but this is hilarious
AU, where Riptide looks like this
Imagine if Riptide looked like this but each different color was a different type of weapon
Reading Six of Crows
Kaz: “He was used to having his Wraith around – feeding the crows outside his window, sharpening her knives while he worked at his desk, chastising him with her Suli proverbs. He didn’t want Inej. He just wanted their routine back.”
Me:
That feeling when you can't decide what book you want to read next
I think one thing we should always go by is “what would kaz brekker do in this situation?”
Y'all are gonna go to prison
Again, but Better
I just finished Again, but Better by Christine Riccio and I absolutely adored it! I don’t want to spoil anything so this will be very short, but I just wanted to say how much I loved the plot. Shane was so relatable and I could totally see myself as her in this book. I loved all the other characters too. Leo, for example, had so much more to him than Shane could tell us in the beginning. None of the characters were simple or boring, they all had so much to them. I absolutely loved Christine’s writing style in this book, it just made everything come together so nicely. This book made me laugh and cry, it made me so happy it hurt to smile. It was exactly the kind of book I need.
I hate Chad. Chad is a disgusting excuse of a human.
Just started reading Again, but Better by Christine Riccio who is one of my favorite booktubers of all time. I’m so excited to finish it because so far Shane has been so relatable.
i think one of my favorite things about six of crows is how every character has something outside of a romance subplot or even the main heist plot. inej wants to get a boat and take down slavers!!! wylan wants to help his mom!!! jesper wants to change and be better for his dad!!!! every character has depth and a background and they feel like actual people and that’s so rare in ya books especially with so many main characters and leigh does a really good job of giving her characters a purpose besides the Main Thing
make me choose : @inejsghcfa asked → the lunar chronicles or six of crows
“An impossible job, near certain death, terrible odds, but should we scrape it….We’ll be kings and queens, Inej. Kings and queens.”
celebrate 3.2k with me!
I’m half way through Six Of Crows and I’m loving it so much! I highly recommend reading it it’s so good!!!!!

This is so relatable it hurts. Nonfiction books make me feel smart even if I don’t get anything out of them.
Books make everything better
Proceeds in having a cry party
Books give you all the feels
“Woah you finished that book in one day?? How did you-“
