can someone verify: if OP turns off reblogs on a post, is the post still rebloggable farther down the chain, since each reblog is functionally its own post now?

people have tested it and yeah, if you turn off reblogs on your post, any reblogs that escaped before you did that are still rebloggable

but they didn't add any way for the rebloggers to disable reblogs so those posts are forever stuck rebloggable even if everyone in the chain wants the post not to be
