Costume finished, concert attended, wig snatched

THE FINAL STEP - Adding the fur sleeves

I did this without a ruler or any prior sewing knowledge, so i am super happy with the result! You should try it too :)

I folded the faux fur around my arm and cut 2 equal sized rectangles ( allowing an inch for seam allowance). I later found out that sleeves arent rectangluar and have a “hooded” end. Oops.

I used embroidery thread to sew up on of the long edges to form a tube. I did this fur sides together, so when i turned it inside out, the seam was on the inside. The fur material is quite forigivng so no pressure to be too neat.

After making two, i stapled it to the rep t shirt and bobs my uncle!

Super happy with the result.

Stencilled my REP Shirt for the stadium tour!!!!!

Step two complete!!!

I stencilled the whole emblem over 2 days

I first did the majority of the word REP by using washi tape and a sponge. I bought the setacolor fabric paint and i would recommend it! (silver)

I cleaned up the edges with a black sharpie!

After that dried, I cut little slats into some thick card and stencilled the thinner bits of the word on. I didnt want to include these in the main stencil and they are quite.... delicate ;)

once the thin bits have dried, Im going to sharpie them also!

Super happy with the final result!!! im going to iron it to set the paint it :)
