honestly why did steven universe become like a cringe thing to like it's literally a kids show that despite its flaws has lots of good representation and probably helped a lot of younger children to feel accepted and seen

god the fact that the show started with Steven sharing cookie cat with the gems and ended with Steven sharing cookie cats with the gems

but this time, instead of singing and eating by himself, they’re all eating with him (even pearl tried a tiny bite even though she hates eating iM SOBBING) and the gems sing the song to him this time!!

And the fact that they’re cookie cats that’s Steven made himself!!! they’re not the best, they’re kind of messed up, definitely not as perfect as the ones he used to eat, but they’re just as good, better even, because Steven made them himself with love and he’s getting to share them with the people he loves and I’m just-
