anon if you're out there, i'm trying to look for sources on what you asked me, but it is extremely hard for me. most of knowledge is about literary analysis and the history and sociological aspects of sexuality and gender, not psychology or biology, or any scientific studies. I do like matcha --I have tasted a broad spectrum of teas and I have liked it, it's just that is hard to came by it where I live. I do not care for the modern aesthetics given to matcha by social media, but I do like the traditional chinese and japanese aesthetics that are required in preparation of this tea and other types!
