Stories | Dean & Castiel
Castiel listened to what his roommate was trying to say to him. “I understand, Dean. And do not treat me like I don’t, I do. You like my brother in a way that you find him attractive and I believe it is the same for him” he sat onto his bed. “He is probably trying to work things out. But in doing so, he is mistakenly avoiding you? I believe it is not as bad as an angel and a demon falling in love, well, so I’ve heard”
“Why would you lie to your child about an invisible bunny? They do not exist. Surely they should know that” he frowned “Why hide it? Why not simply give it to the person instead of wasting time trying to look for it?”
He saw something misplaced under his pillow and he pulled out another egg. “We do celebrate events. Just not to the extent you have. We do not have chocolate eggs for example or christmas trees”
"I dunno about 'bad'," Dean offered. "I mean, you love who you love, right? It just happens, you can't control it. Maybe heaven has rules against it or whatever. I think, um..." It's the fact that you're related to the bitch, Dean wanted to say, but sooner shut his mouth. "Never mind. Just... yeah. Lucifer. Who'd have thought, right?" He laughed humourlessly. "I'm sure he'll come around. Maybe."
Dean rolled his eyes. "It's fun, Cas. It makes good memories for kids. Rabbits are symbols of fertility. Birth. You know. Zombie Jesus. All that. Man, Heaven sounds boring. No women in sexy bunny outfits, no candy, no egg-hunting. You guys just, what, talk to each other and think?"
