You look like her. Those were the words that were nagging at her brain and attempting to pry its way out but instead, she stood beside the slightly shorter girl as they both gazed at the Victorian piece of art before them. "It's beautiful. The painting, I mean. Though, I'm pretty sure your own art skills shouldn't be threatened by this if that's what you're worried about." She quipped, finally breaking the silence and hoped that she could prod a smile out of the girl whom she wanted to ease. After all, her brain must be barraged with many things at the sight of the painting, most likely filled with confusion or intrigue she would imagine, at the sight of someone with a face strikingly similar to hers. And she's sure that just like Casey, she also wanted to find out the story behind this house. Their next ongoing project of HoH.

"Hey! Hey! Excuse me, but who are you and what are you all doing here?!" Casey asked, entirely not amused by the group of people that barged into the house out of the blue, especially right when she had just finished setting up all of her streaming equipment. Her biggest worry was the big inconvenience this was causing to her investigation plans and she was also rather ticked off that after all the trouble of waiting days to get the approval from the property owner to inspect the house, these random people thought they could just barge in like they owned the place. "Do have permission to be here? Cause if not, you need to leave."

“You may want to speak up next time. You’re lucky I can read lips pretty well cause yeah I can see you but I could barely hear you." She’s talking rather calmly considering the circumstance though her eyes are shining and her face is in obvious awe as she wraps her mind around the fact that she was staring face to face (and conversating!!!) with actual proof of the supernatural, doing a good job containing her bubbling excitement. She turns her head, briefly focusing her attention on the laptop supposedly, hopefully, recording this for her website’s live stream. “That camera better be on. If only for proof to show Jac later on if you don’t stick around by the time she comes back from grabbing supplies.” She talks to herself and then returns to the ghostly figure. “Did you live in this house?”

The girls answer to her natural dry sarcasm antics had the vampire not only confused but also question her sanity. Maybe, going around  trying to hunt ghosts had pushed her to the edge, enough to become  delusional. With both brows raised, Carmilla paid careful attention to  her, her behavior not being a normal one, she already had so much to  deal with, between making sure Laura stayed out of trouble and helping  her on her pathetic long life mission of being a hero, this was the last  thing she needed to add to the list. Not to speak, she couldn’t be  having a battle of the broadcasters, with one reporting to the students  about the odd occurrences and another trying to get to the bottom of  said things since apparently in her mind odd equaled ghosts.  ❛ – No  shit, Sherlock. For one my not is not Ellia, for two I have no idea who  she might be but for your sake I’m hoping she’s not a ghost or else you should be in a psychic area. Where crazy people belong. Because you’re  not making much sense.  ❜ She drawled, the sound of a book being closed  echoing in the room, a leg being brought closely to her chest as she allowed herself to slid along the lounge chair she had been attempting to relax in,  dark eyes falling on the girl.  ❛ Yeah, well. If I were you I’d stay out of it.  The college doesn’t enjoy being investigated. Neither does the Dean  like little girls like you meddling around. You wanna know what happens?  They end up being fed to the anglerfish or even worse tortured to death.  It’s not much so a ghost you should be worried about, more so my mother.  So, if I were you I’d get your ghost and company away from this place before mother’s very obedient servants get to you. I can assure you escaping them  will be very hard.  Considering how fast they are. ❜

"Ellia isn't a ghost, she's my girlfriend and I'm not crazy or delusional. Or blind for that matter cause you look scarily identical to her, like, you could pass for her long lost twin or distant Austrian cousin. I don't know." Casey rambles off to defend her sanity, taking great offense in this girl's claims. She walks back to her laptop and immediately clicks and clacks at the keys of her keyboard until she brings up an article that was done on the Grantham House with a picture of Ellia, Jac and herself in front of the house. "See! You look exactly like her."

"And look, we're not leaving. From what you're saying, I'm surprised this place is still running in the first place. Like, seriously, torture? You've got to be joking, after all you did say angler fish so obviously you can't be serious." Casey continues. "You can scare and threaten me all you want but there's nothing stopping me. I've already got Jac on my back telling me how bad of an idea this is and I'd rather listen to her logical reasoning instead. There's something going on here. There's citations of worried parents who never hear from their kids after attending here and the townspeople on the outskirts of this university have no knowledge at all of this place even existing! If anything, even if there is no paranormal activity, people on the outside deserve to know the truth to this place."

“Case, it’s three a.m.” She tosses Casey’s pjs at her. “Bed. Now.” She sighs softly, her features softening with it ever so slightly  “It’ll all still be there in the morning. Come on. You need the sleep.”

“Three a.m is barely considered that late, Jac.” Casey wasn’t a stranger to all nighters and Jac should be highly aware of that, so naturally she didn’t see the time as a big deal. The pieces of clothing hits her face but it barely phases her, tossing it aside. “Just give me a few more minutes! I need to work on it now or else I’ll lose my train of thought and then I’ll never get it done. I’m not even tired yet!” She says, practically pleading as her eyes are completely glued to the bright computer screen. “Just go ahead and sleep, I’ll be done soon. Promise.”

“Ellia, stop kidding around. Keep saying that we have affiliations with the ghost busters and people will actually believe you.” Casey goes on, talking blinding and not realizing she wasn’t talking to her girlfriend like she thought. She was just too engrossed in setting up her computer and cameras that when she heard the sarcastic voice that sounded oddly similar to Ellia, she figured it was just her trying to make dry jokes. 

That is, until she finally turns away from her work to see the girl that looked identical to the girl she’s fallen in love with except there was just something different about her. Casey blinks and squints as she studies the girl, a totally shocked expression on her face. “Oh, whoa, wait- you’re not Ellia. Okay, wow, well that’s a new one. Look, I don’t know why you look a lot like Ellia but nothing you say will stop me and Jac from finding out what’s up with this place, no matter how many times you try. We’ve got a ton of sources citing odd occurrences happening throughout the history of this university and we want to get to the bottom of this.”

“But Jac…” Casey immediately starts to whine as she refuses to turn away from the work in front of her. “Maybe an hour ago I may have said that but an hour ago, I thought I would be finished by then. But, apparently, that’s not the case so I need some more time. I’m so close, Jac, I have to finish! I just hit a minor snag.” Ever the persistent one.
