Anne with an "E" is a show which portrays various issues such as discrimination, harassment, censorship, grief and whatnot. It even represents menstruation and makes viewers understand it is natural.
Even though it is set in the 19th century, many aspects of the show make it relatable to the 21st century too. Different types of people appear, some of which may remind us of someone we all know of. Anne with an "E" teaches us that our mistakes do not define us, what we do to correct them does.
One integral part of Anne with an "E" is that it shows us a healthy, teenage romance where both individuals are equals and respect eachother. Sadly, this kind of relationship is very rarely seen on TV these days.
This is the type of show we want our younger generation to watch and grow up. It has a huge impact on tweens and teens as they can learn what is right and what isn't from this show. Unfortunately, this show has been cancelled too soon. At the very least, we need a conclusive ending to this beautiful story. Renew Anne with an "E" and create an impact on young minds. @netflix @cbc
Don't give up, fam. We have an entire book series to base the story on. If it is renewed in 10 years, we can see their adult lives when we are adults. We'll fight for this for years to come!
Please do tag Netflix, CBC and Moira when you create edits and post them and tag them with #renewannewithane
Thank you @just35yrsandtrying and everyone who got me to 50 reblogs!
1000 likes!
Ooh
Reblog this and in the tags put your MBTI type + the last song you listened to.
Okay, I'm genuinely curious.. How do so many people love Zoyalai??
Don't get me wrong, I love Zoya and I absolutely LOVE Nikolai and that's why I don't ship Zoyalai. I'm surprised y'all don't ship Nikolai with yourselves!
Rudy Pankow as Nikolai Lantsov
I posted this picture earlier but some people thought Rudy was too rugged for Nikolai and not regal, they had a point..
..then I saw this pic
I feel he has the potential to be a great Nikolai
@netflix
Guys, please remember that the reason JJPope works so well is because Jonathan and Rudy makes it work. We have this ship because of how comfortable Rudy and JD are with one another. Because they have great chemistry and a great dynamic. Let’s not go out of our way to ruin that. This ship was never planned or even birthed in the writers room. WE did this. So calling the writers homophobic for not acknowledging it is both unnecessary and sorta inappropriate to say the least. Relax. Enjoy what Rudy and Jonathan give us for the time being. Let’s not put the guys in any uncomfortable situations behind the scenes.
We’re better than that other ship. Let’s keep providing that.
Chemistry in TV Series
I really think we should stop rooting for couples simply because they have chemistry. Sure, chemistry is good but it’d be much better if it is the result of two individuals working for their relationship and if they are deserving of eachother. There are a lot of factors that make a love story epic and it shouldn’t all come down to chemistry.
Chemistry is a BIG factor though. I’m not interested in watching a good developed love story if the two key players in it have zero chemistry. It’ll be just pale and fade. So yeah, I’d rather root for chemistry first. In a perfect world, I’d have it all…chemistry and a well written story. I sometimes had it. Not all the time though.
And as Sandra Bullock would say “it’s the rare happening when actors get together and you have chemistry, connection, just something that works, that’s bigger than what’s on the page”.
I agree that chemistry is a big factor especially for entertainment purposes. I just don't think two people should end up together solely because of chemistry.

ppl think I’m calling them homophobic when they don’t ship JJPope.
I know that just because you don’t ship it doesn’t mean it’s homophobic
I’m talking about if Pope was replaced by a woman. And JJ acted the way he does around Pope but now it’s around that woman. People would be shipping it instantly without looking any further
Exactly!
Okay, but we still don't know JJ's full name?? Or if he even has one..

Kiara Carrera - INFP
Fi - she takes caring for the environment personally, her pet peeve is literally giving only 1% to the environment even though it isn't realistic to give 100%, she hates spending so much on Midsummers' as it goes against her beliefs. She can be stubborn. She is friends with the Pogues even though her parents don't want her to be (Fi > Fe). At her worst, she is self-righteous. She doesn't understand how Pope's scholarship matters to him as HER priority is John B (expects others to give the same level of importance to what's important to her)
Ne - Her Ne might not be clear in the way she talks but if we notice the way she thinks it can be spotted. Her impromptu idea for a kegger, lighting the screen on fire instead of continuing to directly stop the fight, calling the cops on Sarah's birthday party instead of tackling the issue directly, randomly comparing Sarah to a spitting cobra (this analogy doesn't make sense to any of her friends, typical of aux Ne users) and comparing her own Midsummer's look to a bourgeoisie pig. When Pope accuses her of forgetting about then during her Kook year, she wants to escape from facing it, she wants a break.
Si - When she thinks about her friendship with Sarah, she feels nostalgic, she always goes down memory lane. Tert Si users aren't afraid to try out new things but they want their small word to be intact. Her Si is afraid of dynamics within the Pogues changing. When John B kisses her, she blames her reaction on the rule. Her wanting "group harmony" is mistaken as her Fe but it's really her Fi-Si wanting to hold on to what matters to her.
Te - Her Te is inferior, her passive-aggressive nature shows this. She says "Can't you guys do anything without me?" and she wants in on everything, underdeveloped Te can really make you a control freak at times.

Things I like about the Vampire Diaries Books that should have been in the show
Damon being a simp for women: Damon is so massively respectful of women in the books that he kills a man in defence of Bonnie’s honour after he makes her cry. He refuses to feed on women unless they hit on him first which is a close to consent a vampire can get.
The vampires being able to turn into animals.
The vampires being able to communicate telepathically and if they’re powerful enough they can telepathically compel other beings.
Bonnie being able to vibe that an animal isn’t an animal, it’s some sort of supernatural creature.
Damon calling Stefan, saint Stefan.
Meredith Sulez being able to make Damon jump.
Whatever was going on with Mrs Flowers, that lady knew all and about everything.
Mrs Flowers creeping Damon out.
Katherine being able to control the emotions of animals and setting every dog in town after the Salvatore brothers.
The Fell’s church grave yard scene with Damon, Stefan, Elena and Katherine.
Klaus making people have weird dreams.
Klaus and his little yellow bird eye fishfinger man outfit.
Bonnie’s weird Damon spidey sense.
Bonnie being able to identify Tyler Smallwood in the pitch dark, because he touched her with his creepy clammy werewolf hands.
Bonnie cutting a werewolves hand off with an axe covered in silver. When everyone just assumed that she couldn’t protect herself.
That moment where Damon catches Bonnie and she’s all start struck and sees the galaxy in his eyes.
Whatever that lightning control thing that Damon used on Klaus was.
In the books Klaus talks about seeing the world before men and I would love to see what he saw and know more about him.
The Hybrids as L.J.Smith wrote them is fascinating Meredith Sulez is descended from one and I just need to know more about the whole thing.
WE WERE ROBBED!!
