Took me until about halfway through college before I realized “study” means “play with the material in a variety of ways until you understand it” and not just “read the assigned chapters and do the homework” and I think that probably should have been discussed at some point prior to that.

pursuing computer engineering

finished 2 years of college

goals for the summer:

get fit

get my driving licence

become leetcode GOAT

complete pending/incomplete development projects

try not slip back into high school self and get depressed.

went to gym semi regularly over the summer but lost any gains made

did get my driving licence!!

solved almost 200 questions on leetcode

did not complete pending development projectx, instead made some new ones at kickass hackathons

did inevitably fight with parents and become sad

in other news:

secured an internship!

arranged bomb events in college

attended national level competitions

somewhere along the way got burnt-out

but looks like i'm on the mend now, let's hope i'll be able to build momentum before end sem exams

thinking about how 11th grade me could never imagine me actually enjoying the degree that i was forced to do; that even in this place of wrath and tears, you can find people to call your own, places where you are heard, and things that you've made that bring you joy.

to anyone currently going through the worst of our education system, keep faith. it does get better. keep calm and study on.
