Craigslist finaly blessed me with a casio sk1. I've owned the sk-5 for years and never knew how many features it was lacking compared to the sk1.... Envelope selection for all voices (not just the sample tone) and a makeshift digital synth wave builder. Thanks to casio for getting it right, at lease once.
Modular Casio SK-5 Bent by Oceanus, the Vince Clarke Machine
This is where it all began for me…this thing changed my life! :)
We just had to share this totally boss pair of Casios with reversed keys. The tiny PT-1 (bottom) was actually, if you can believe it, a SMALLER version of the Casio VL-Tone (as if the famous calculator synth wasn’t small enough). The one on top is the MT-65, which featured auto-accompanying drum-beats and bass-lines.
Here’s my super hipster-tastic casio keyboard I found yesterday. Jamin’
