I adore how the difference between Etho's enderchest storage and Bdub's adapted system, based off of Etho's, speaks to a thought process when the problem of "I need blocks" arises. Where Etho's is sorted by type and function, Bdubs is more sorted by colour with thoughts for highlighting and shading.

Etho will approach a build and think of additional touches, like "this needs a light" or "a plant would look good here", but for Bdubs there's a real focus on palettes so being able to see gradients even from the inventory space is more useful. I think this also extends into how willing Bdubs is to abandon what a block "should" represent as told by the game, and instead uses a mix of textures and shades to create a representation of his intended vision.

It reminds me of my dear friend and their partner, who upon combining bookshelves started to argue because one ordered by colour gradient and the other by author's last name. But they both loved books!
