This is what I meant by how a lot of white supremacy is projection.

"I feel like my penis/my Manhood as a symbol is smaller than Black man's" becomes "Black men have oversized penises and are sexually insatiable beasts."

Your own fears and insecurities about yourself somehow become a reflection of my humanity, when it had nothing to do with anything. And somehow enough people think that and now it's systemic instead of the made up nonsense it always was. Ijeoma Oluo called it mediocrity, James Baldwin called racism the white man's problem, and they remain correct.

when it was revealed that agravaine was a traitor, arthur asked merlin if he, merlin, knew that. in response, merlin, who had tried so hard to tell arthur (only to be treated absolutely horribly in return), didn’t say “i told you so,” or “yes, obviously i knew,” or anything that would make arthur feel worse. he just said that he suspected it. because arthur was already so hurt and merlin just wanted him to be okay. could you ever love anybody that much? insane.

Maybe I’m just insane from being a fan of this godforsaken show for so long but I feel like Castiel would have figured something out… a failsafe so that if he had his One Happy Moment he would be shunted somewhere else immediately where the empty couldn’t find him… or that they empty would come and be tricked into taking a fake version of him (maybe if he hacked Naomi’s Dean cloning machine idk) but like to just live with that hanging over his head and tell no one and do nothing about it just seems too fatalistic for TFW
