I feel like dear is too formal, but it’s also kind of cute. Would you mind if I called you dear, dear? I hope you’re reading all of this in my voice! I do that with your texts; makes me feel like you’re really there with me. Pathetic, huh?

Anyway, I’m writing to you again… obviously. I asked my grandma why she gave me the stationary and apparently she thought it would get me off my phone because I could write my friends instead. I’m surprised she isn’t all for texting, you’d think someone who knows what it’s like to be without, would prefer the with. Let me stop being a downer, though.

I got a job. Well, I already made a little money doing odd jobs for my grandparents like I’ve talked about before, but this is a real paycheck and everything! I got my first one last week. With the money I’ve already got saved up, I might be able to see you at Christmas. Wouldn’t that be nice? We’d meet each other during the most magical time of year. Kind of cliche, too, but oh well. 

I’ve been thinking about your present and I really don’t have a clue about what to get you. Maybe drop some hints next time we talk? Thanks, dear.

School kind of sucks as usual. My grades are okay and everything, but this one kid keeps trying to cheat off me. It’s not like I care, but if he gets caught I get in trouble too! How unfair, right? They think I’m offering my answers or something. Not my fault the kid is too stupid to do the work himself, or that the desks are so close to each other I could practically be in my neighbors lap if I tried hard enough. Which, people do that, too. PDA is so gross when it isn’t you and your significant other.
