Nimby (Omniscient): “That’s all I’ll ever be. An enraged and miserable nuisance to everyone around me. My life will never amount to anything more and I’ll  succumb to my own burnout.”

*She’s taken aback from the surprise hug and kind words.*

Nimby: You make a good argument…but I w-wouldn’t say the ‘sun’ is a completely separate person. It’s still something within me, something that’s my responsibility. It’s still technically me, just…under a different light.

I doubt everyone from the beachcamp feels that way, b-but I appreciate you speaking on behalf of them anyway…

Nimby: My situation is rather…exclusive…so I r-really don’t know anyone to relate with or confide to. I’m s-sure your case isn’t one-to-one with mine…but it’s nice to know that you emphasize…

*A little smile forms on the castform’s face.*

Nimby: I find it difficult asking for help…I think I’m just s-scared of others finding out who I really am. But…you all came to see how I was doing, even after seeing my awful behavior. Do…Do you really c-care that much?

*Her tears start clearing up.*

Magical Girl Nimby!

I saw an old post from dailyashleighraichu proposing pokeask muses dressed in magical girl/boy attire, and I really wanted to take a stab at it!

Nimby’s outfit is the Pink Space Cadet Costume from Cardcaptor Sakura, with the pink swapped out for Nimby’s beauty scarf blue. Her weapon isn’t from anything in particular, just a weather ball stuffed into a glass rod. 

I initially wanted to draw her in something much poofier, but I couldn’t find anything that I was super crazy for. Though this outfit’s spacey/sciency vibes are definitely more fitting for Nimby.

Nimby: Oh my Rayquaza it really is! I didn’t think Cipher remembered to mention our conversation! W-Well it’s a pleasure to meet you! I’m Nimby, and- well you already knew that, um— let’s see— I wanted to ask— wait no, maybe I should— oh dear, my apologies if I’m acting scatterbrained, I would’ve been more prepared if I k-knew about your arrival in advance! I don’t want to keep you waiting, but could you give me a few m-moments please?

*She dashes off and scrambles to gather some items.*

(A little while later…)

Nimby (omniscient): “It’s been a long time since I’ve encountered another castform, especially one of such a prestige position. I thought I would do something special for the occasion, so I put together a quick picnic.”

Nimby (omniscient): “Perhaps my excitement was a little obvious, but I couldn’t help myself. The prospect of meeting and speaking with weatherman of my species was too good to pass up. Of course, I tried not to bombard Zephyr with too many questions, but I just had to know more. Most of my inquiry regarded his career, and I asked him things like ‘What’s it like working at the Jubilife Broadcast Station?,’ ‘What’s your daily routine?,’ and ‘What’s the weather like in the cities you report on?’”

Hello everyone! @mangosteeeeeeeeeen here, runner of @vanillite-propaganda, @bounsweet-propaganda, and @castform-propaganda, and I have an announcement:

Sorry for the lack of posts (well, endless reblogs) lately. I’ve been kinda discouraged from looking at tumblr recently. Looking back on it, there were a lot of accounts I followed which did nothing but really bog me down, emotionally and psychologically. I just needed a break, and a bit of spring cleaning in my “following” tab.

I’ll be trying to act on these accounts a bit more nowadays, and add some actual content aside from just reblogging. (If anybody would like to suggest anything, feel free to!) I’ll try to do at least one thing every day, even if it’s just a silly little drawing I do on my phone or something on a peice of paper. I wanna be more active in the pokeganda community, so wish me luck, and thank you for reading!

i like castform a lot! It’s a fun little pokemon that’s enjoyable in its simplicity. This thing was doing different forms before it was cool, and it was the perfect gimmick pokemon for a generation all about the weather. If only its stats weren’t so bad and it wasn’t basically only good in rain! When are we getting a rock type form anyway?
