Character Entry: Alucard / Adrian Fahrenheit Tepes
Age: 1579
Height: 5’11"
Birthday: 1456 (Uncertain)
Sign: (Uncertain)
The half vampire son of Dracula and Lisa, leader of the Order of Light and mentor to Sonia.
I won’t go into too much detail on Alucard, much about him can already be found online since he is a well known character, I will instead go into detail of his roles and personality in the future.
After the events of Season 3 of the Netflix series and beyond, Trevor and Sypha reunited with Alucard and helped pull him from the hate that had seep into his heart. Together, they then founded the Order of Light, an organization of unity to teach noble warriors how to fight against the forces of darkness. Although Trevor and Sypha’s time on this world came to an end, Alucard vowed to continue what they created together, to ensure peace and security for all humanity. For over 1500 years, he’s kept that promise, and the order has grown in numbers ever since.
Alucard, although being an immortal damphir; has acknowledged he has grown old. He has semi-retired from the battlefield and now mainly handles the battles of diplomacy across the country of Romania and the rest of the world. He became far sighted, and all those years of fighting has worn out his movement, causing him to need a cane to walk. However, in the most dire of situations, he will still fight when needed, displaying a fierce and precise form of combat, developed with years of experience.
1500 years has aged him well in terms of wisdom and diplomacy. His social skills have improved greatly, as well as public speaking skills. He has a bountiful amount of wisdom to share with his friends and fellow hunters, fulfilling his role well as leader of the Order. Although he still tends to not understand the "younger generation" all too well, perplexed by the things that trend in the future, he misses the old days when things made more sense to him.
One thing that has changed greatly for him was his sense of hope, he almost lost it due to his encounter with Sumi and Taka, and vowed never to let that happen again. His hope for the good in humanity has never dwindled since, serving as he determination in his battles against the forces of darkness. He shares that hope deeply with Sonia, as he has high belief in her and her destiny as a Belmont, even if Dracula isn’t around anymore.
His one true dream is to be able to finally rest, to finally see the world at peace, without the dangers of darker forces. He prays that day will come soon.
Fun Facts
He is one of the leaders of Romania, serving on a council with other members to maintain order in the country. Specifically, he is the leader of the Transylvanian region.
He has a seat in the League of Nations... no I’m serious, he is the Romania ambassador for the League of Nations.
His main office has the portrait of Leon Belmont that was in the Belmont Hold, a portrait of Trevor and Sypha, and the portrait of Dracula, Lisa and himself when he was a baby.
In 2686, the last rogue vampire was hunted down and eliminated, leaving Alucard the last living being to have vampire heritage.
Despite the awful things they did to him, he still thinks of Sumi and Taka sometimes, wishing what could have been, instead of what was...
The ring he wears belonged to his father. He wears it as a reminder of the good part of his father's soul.
He still won’t say when his exact birthday is, as he doesn’t like to hear how many years are added up.
He knows how to use a present day, state of the art holo-screen, but he still can’t understand the appeal of a "cell-phone".
He would still be voiced by James Callis, it’s just too good to give him a different voice.
Character Entry: Mathias Cronqvist
Age: 24
Height: 6'0"
Birthday: August 11, 3011
Sign: Leo
Alright, let me get this out of the way, Castlevania: Lament of Innocence’s attempt at a Dracula origin was lame. It wasn’t well developed and the big reveal of it came off as clumsy. So I feel changes need to be made.
Leon Belmont and Dracula’s past together will remain the same, they knew each other. But Dracula will remain Vlad Tepes, he will always be Vlad Tepes! None of that Lament of Innocence nonsense that the game gave us, I will elaborate more on the changes to that story another time.
With that out of the way, this is the redesigned and rebooted version of Mathias Cronqvist.
Mathias is the Order of Lights greatest champion, a fierce and noble warrior who hails from a small village near Targovista. He is childhood friends with Sonia, and is currently engaged to his beloved Beatrice.
He a very kind and compassionate man, tending to always put himself before others, as he treasures humanity and all the good that comes from it. All his life he wanted to put himself before others, and due to the circumstances of the world, becoming a warrior was the best option. He is proud of all that’s been accomplished in his life, yet he strides to do more for the world, wanting to go above and beyond. As a leader, he always looks out for his fellow hunters, and chose the wisest options in battle.
Although he is a warrior, Mathias treats the fight against the undead very differently from others. All he wants is to settle down and become the leader that his village needs, but his desire to do good and fight for the peace of humanity forces him to take action. Truly he’s grown tired of the fighting, tired of so many innocent deaths and numerous wounds he’s sustained.
However, while he yearns for peace and a comfortable life, there is a darkness within his soul that desires fighting, desires carnage and bloodshed. It’s a strange feeling that he cannot shake away, that he cannot understand. It often drives him into the heat of battle, to fight the enemy head-on... something that others, even himself; always put into question. Though he never lets it get out of control, he only wishes to understand it.
Unbeknownst to him, and to many others, he is the last blood descendent of the Tepes Family line, making him Dracula’s sole heir.... and heir to his dark powers...
Fun Facts:
He has trouble sleeping due to strange dreams sometimes. So he drinks special tea in the morning to help him wake up.
His sword is based on Vlad’s sword from "Dracula Untold", it’s hilt contains a dragon.
He has a knack for poetry.
He one day hopes to settle down and become mayor of his village, a position currently filled in by a man he trusts...
He would be voiced by Gianni Matragrano, who does a whole plethora of video game voices, anime voices and fan voices.
What if this was a game?...
It would be truly awesome, wouldn’t it, to have a fresh, brand new genuine Castlevania game. A man can only dream, or in this case, draw a dream.
This is a mock screenshot of Castlevania: Of the Future if it were a real game. I imagine it would be like "DuckTales Remastered" and "Indivisible", 3D environments with 2D, hand drawn characters. The main thing that would be emphasized for the game is control and mobility, Sonia would have a wide variety of abilities, such as whipping in all 8 directions, whip grappling, and even new moves like dashing and wall jumping.
Hope you all like it!
Character Entry: Sonia Belmont
Age: 22
Height: 5’4"
Birthday: May 12, 3013
Sign: Taurus
The main protagonist of Castlevania: Of the Future. Sonia is the newest Belmont, born in the early 31st century, over 1000 years after Dracula’s final defeat. She the daughter of Darius and Grace Belmont and the current owner of the Vampire Killer. She is also a member of Alucard’s organization, The Order of Light; to help protect the world from undead threats.
About Her
Sonia can pretty much be summed up in one word, Bookworm. She delights in reading anything and everything she finds in both the Belmont Hold and the Library of Alucard’s Castle. While some see it as a weakness for her, given that she’s suppose to be training more to be a warrior; in truth it is her greatest strength, as she is quite knowledgeable in the details of monsters, locations and combat. Though she loves to read by her own desire, she also wishes to memorize and preserve knowledge as precaution, as the Belmont lineage almost went extinct, twice. Although Alucard has taken measures to make certain this does not happen again, Sonia can’t help but feel it necessary to try and preserve as much as her family’s legacy as possible.
While not the strongest Belmont in history, she would definitely be considered the fastest of them all. Her incredible speed allows for her to dodge many attacks with ease. At the age of 8, she once chased down one of the ancient dodo birds that so happened to be roaming her estate grounds. Normally the creatures are near impossible to catch, yet she managed to catch it anyway, with her bare hands no less, which impressed both her father and Alucard. Not to say she isn’t strong at all, she is incredibly strong, and quite muscular as well. She is also the shortest Belmont, standing at only 5’4", which she does not like being mentioned, at all.
Her outfit is very free and airy, comprised of soft pants, a tank top and a special sweater that doesn’t go to the shoulders. She also has open finger gloves, slip-on shoes and no socks.
She is practical and very grounded, always assessing the situation and thinking things through instead of just charging ahead, giving her potential as a leader. She tends to get too caught up in things though, distracted by her books and her hobbies, traits which causes her to need extra training. She can also be over protective when it comes to her loved ones, her friends and even herself. She has great self confidence and belief in herself, and gets flustered when people doubt her abilities as a warrior. She has faith in herself that she will do right by her ancestor’s legacy.
Fun Facts:
When she reads, she wears beautiful reading glasses.
Her favorite color is Lavender.
She is ambidextrous, a trait she inherited from her father.
Her favorite food is a Meat Pie recipe that her mother uses.
The castle’s training course has a time trial of 1 minute and 30 seconds, Alucard’s time on the course is 1 minute exactly, Sonia managed to beat her master’s time by completing it in 57 seconds.
While most of the Belmont family favored the cross sub-weapon, Sonia’s favorite is the stop watch.
Sonia’s favorite piece of literature to read is the Journal of the Devil Forgemaster Hector, specifically the pages that detail the mysterious Saint Germain.
The original Sonia Belmont is considered non-canon by Iga, but a lot of fans still consider her canon regardless. So my Sonia could simply be named after her ancestor, making her Sonia the Second.
If she had a voice, she would be voiced by Ratana, who voiced Ishtar in Fire Emblem Heroes, Lianshi in Dynasty Warriors 9 and Leonie in Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
It ended very differently than I imagined...
It’s been exactly 1035 years since that day, since my father, Dracula; was vanquished from this world, his soul finally laid to rest. I knew that day it was to be the end, that his madness and hatred would come to closure... but it did not end peacefully as I had hoped... it feels like only yesterday it happened...
In the year of 1999, I began assisting Julius, the current member of the Belmont family at the time, on his destined path to face my father. However, I would not let history repeat itself again and again, too many innocents have been lost to Dracula already. For many years I searched for a way to prevent his continuous resurrection, and all had come up short. However, near the end of July, I was approached by a man named John Seward, the leader of the Elgos Order. With the help of ancient sages; he had found a way to sever my father from his powers, and I eagerly accepted his help.
With preparations made, Julius, myself and many others, set out to my father’s castle on the night of August 11, 1999. The battle is too great in detail to tell, I will only say; it was a battle unlike any other. Julius struck the final blow against Dracula, and with the ancient magic of the sages; my father’s chaotic energy was separated from him, preventing his soul from returning. Truely, it was a triumphic victory... but that moment was not to last...
To my horror, I saw the energy dissipated into the sky... and as it happened, the very Earth itself shook, shattering and splitting... I feared that it was the end of all mankind. After seemingly an hour, it stopped... the Earth stood still once again, but not without consequence. Continents cracked apart, countries and cities were either mildly damaged or utterly destroyed... in our effort to save the world, we inadvertently ruined it.
Civilization had to start over once again, many of our modern conventions were lost, and many old ways were rediscovered. My organization, the Elgos Order and many others came out into the light and helped to rebuild the world with our resources. No longer did we need to hide in the shadows, instead we began building connections and trust with the people. In time the world returned to stability, and peace was forged worldwide... Of course, it was peace between the humans... not peace again the forces of darkness. Despite all that we’ve accomplished, we are still plagued with undead attacks and cults, the evil of human hearts has never faded away...
As I write this, I contemplate the dream that I so dearly desire, the rest that I long for... will this fighting ever end, will the evil that plagues our vulnerable world ever cease... It is a hope I still cling to, one I swore I would never abandon again. Perhaps the answer lies with our young Belmont... she has a fire within her... I know she will do right, just as the others have before her...
Alucard,

New blog is now live, welcome to Castlevania: Of the Future!
Welcome to my new blog, or rather my new obsession! Ha ha!
What is this new blog about?
Castlevania: Of the Future is a passion project of mine, a hypothetical, fan entry to the Castlevania series, which combines aspects of the original game, the Netflix series and creating new ideas as well. It takes place over 1000 years after the 1999 incident, but the events of "Aria of Sorrow" and "Dawn of Sorrow" never happened, instead opening the gateway to a new story and new ideas.
Why am I doing this? Because other than the Netflix series, I feel the series overall has yet to move forward, evolve and, dare I even say; reach a conclusion. This in a way, is my admirable attempt to do such. Whether it will be a success or not, I do not know; I only hope that it will be interesting enough to grab great attention.
I will post more about the story, how the world has changed, what new characters there are and how it all weaves together with the original series. Stay tune for more fun updates, and I would love to hear feedback from Castlevania fans who are interested!
The main tag for this blog will be "#castlevaniafuture".
