Toying around with making bookmarks Plus my newfound love of Star Wars

My nephew turned 2 and so I thought I could do something fun for his party like this dinosaur themed piñata. I loved how it turned out!

Cross stitch has always relaxed me So I did a thing 😊

made a couple of photo props for a friend's surprise birthday party last night. i think they turned out pretty cute

so, my best friend's birthday was this week. we've known each other since we were 7 and one thing we've always bonded over is music.

she's too lazy to look up music or download it so she's always turning to me for some recommendations. as usual i've been super busy and hadn't had the chance to send her any music so i figured i would make it her present.

i got a regular usb key and copied all music there but then i thought it looked too lame so i got some paper and made a box that looked like a cassette tape cover, just like the ones we used to exchange when we were kids. then i made the inside cover with the list of all songs and to make it look a bit more "birthday" i added some ribbon.

she really liked it and i'm quite proud of how it turned out, although it wasn't perfect.

hi there!

i have always enjoyed crafting but this little thing called life (and its responsibilities) do not allow me to devote as much time to it as i would like to.

however, i do find some time here and there to do some things, mostly paper, though i love to cross stitch too.

anyway, just thought i might share some of what i do here and learn from other very busy casual crafters out there.
