I have this headcanon that the music of FF14 is actually diagetic and that the Warrior of Light is able to hear it thanks to their echo. So everything they hear is actually happening inside of their head. I also love to imagine that my WoL tries to recreate the songs on the piano after hearing them for the first time.

Francel's Fervent Wish is a quest in the Firmament where WoL practices the piano before a recital, going from having never played to plonking out Ishard's Foundation night theme. Out of all music in the game you might expect town music to be the most likely to be real and audible, but on the other hand town music would the vibe of a place the Echo would pick up on

I watched the last season of a TV show recently but I started it with my friend in high school. We haven’t spoken in four years.

I make lentil soup through the recipe my gran gave me.

I curl my hair the way my best friend showed me.

I learned to love books because my father loved them first.

How terrifying, how excruciatingly painful to acknowledge this. That I am a jigsaw puzzle of everyone I have briefly known and loved. I carry them on with me even if I don’t know it. How beautiful.

Modern fandom went awry when people stopped learning how to avoid content that upsets them and instead starting actively seeking it out.

I mean this in the kindest, most loving way possible, but babes you'll be so much happy when you stop focusing on what other people are doing and instead focus on what you like.

You'll never be able to stop people from liking what you hate, and the best way you'll find any peace of mind is properly utilizing blocking, blacklisting, and muting tools. Take it from someone who used to run a shipping discourse blog, fandom is supposed to be what you enjoy, stop focusing on things that upset you.
