more art! for a birthday gift, I was so happy when I saw fire emblem on their wish list. I'm deep in an acrylic paint phase, so I thought trying to emulate a more "classic" painterly style could be neat - and while I hated it through a lot of the process, I'm quite happy with it now :D

I remember once reading a fe fates modern au fic where Niles was a social worker and lowkey wanna expand on that a bit by saying I also think he'd be a good foster parent

Like, I know the main goal with fostering is reuniting the kids with their parents and its generally only temporary...thus Niles is determined to make sure as many kids as possible are looked after and not fucked over by a fucked up system that traumatised him as a child. He's very thorough in making sure that these kids are happy and also aren't being put back into an abusive/neglectful environment when they're done. (Nina takes her role as big sister Very Seriously)

Camilla however, would adopt for the exact opposite reason (those kids are hers now and shes never giving them up for anything).
