I have come to the conclusion these are probably Alastair and Thomas. Alastair dies in Thomas’ arms. Thomas devastated enrolls in the Scholomance, but while in there he regrets it. Long ago, Cassandra added this to her “TLH” pinterest board, with the caption “Thomas”:

How long have you had Thule in mind?? Also, I love how it showed Clary haters how much of a warrior and badass female she is. Just look at how shit the world would be if she hadn’t saved it!

It’s an oddly feminist apocalypse! I’ve had Thule in mind for a long time, since I first planned TDA. I was seriously dying to get there because I loved coming up with the dark version of LA so much and I also love the resonances created by a “what-if” scenario. And it was also certainly born out of dealing with misogynist responses to Clary, calling her “unnecessary” and “entitled,” etc. Enjoy the world without her!

Hi! I was wondering where exactly in Devon are the carstairs living? Cuz my dad grew up there (ironically his name is William) and I wanted to know if it's the same area or not

The house is called Cirenworth, and is not that far from Chagford.

This house, nestled on the edge of Dartmoor, had been in the Carstairs family for a long time. Jem’s uncle Elias Carstairs had owned it once and lived there with his family. Out of concern for Kit, Jem and Tessa had enlisted Magnus to put up wards around the house that prevented those with ill intentions from crossing onto the property.
