I just want y'all to know I check my tumblr in the morning and someone's discussing ecology restoration and someone is posting photos of medieval manuscripts and someone is gushing about a blorbo I've never heard of but it clearly just makes them so happy and someone has tagged me in a quiz and someone is speculating about an aspect of Middle-Earth or Greek mythology that I honestly have never considered and maybe making art about it and everyone is making their little corner of existence better and more loving in some way and I just love y'all so much

I love a good yandere self insert fix as the next gal, but after like four beers I’m starting to think about it serially. Like these characters, super cool super smart characters (like Orochimaru for example). Do I really care what they hypothetically think? These critical thinker types that are portrayed as super judgy in fics. Do I care what they think? These are real questions.

Personally, I was really upset when I went to go watch the film. Which is why I found it resonated with me more. Lately it’s been… I don’t even have the words for it. Seeing Kara be messy, & try despite it all honestly helped. I really want to be someone like Superman, though I find myself a lot like Kara in someways. Being consumed by grief & emotions at times. Though still trying to do good.

Of course they don’t like Milly Alcock’s Supergirl. She’s a grown ass woman with zero love interests who spends the movie saving her dog, casually dismantling a sex trafficking ring while she’s at it, and preaching the importance of being good, not nice or smiley or cheerful but good. I for one adored the movie and I really hope I’ll get to see more of Alcock’s Supergirl she’s now my favorite iteration of her and I love her so dearly.
