It starts with Shion witnessing Satoko Houjou laughing, with Shion's internal monologue reading "I hate her I hate her I hate her" repeatedly in red as the two consecutive panels zoom in on her bitter face. Then, Shion is shown from the side, with her thoughts depicted behind her as scattered white text against red scribbles. She thinks:
I hate that she's weaker than him
I hate that she makes his life worse by being around
I hate that he has to protect her
I hate her for being here
I hate her for existing
I hate that she can be happy when he's not
if she wasn't here. if the roles were swapped
then satoshi-kun would never have to transfer schools

Satoshi then interrupts her by asking offscreen, "hey, mion-san. can I ask you a favor?" She then responds "... what is it, satoshi-kun?"
when Satoshi says "I'm going to leave satoko to you, okay?" Shion then turns her head to ask "... why? even if... she ruins your life just by being here? even if everything is so much harder because of her? I mean, don't you ever just... wish she didn't exist?"
We are then shown a snapshot of Shion and Mion in the bloodstained torture chambers. Shion looks down on Mion, who is behind the bars. Over Satoshi's answer of "... sometimes it is hard, but I would never want that. she's my little sister. she only has me." are close up shots of Shion holding up a bloodied taser with red eyes and restrained rage, and Mion sobbing and clutching the bars.
