officially one week til i'm done with the term and my digital to-do list just isn't cutting it anymore. the next seven days will be a haze of lab reports and presentations and final exams, but i'll come out the other end one step closer to getting that degree.

21.03.2025 // day 393 // enjoying that early autumn weather

got an early start to the day because i couldn't sleep (or rather, i woke up early and then couldn't go back to sleep again). easily convinced myself that i deserved a croissant from my favourite bakery. started reading The Premonition by Yoshimoto Banana and finished reading Antoinette Burton's Dwelling in the Archive.

The process of annotating Pride and Prejudice made me realise Darcy only smiles when talking to Elizabeth. That’s why she easily recognised his smile in his Pemberly portrait. 🥺💕 Now I’m super motivated to read the rest of Austen’s novels, I’m torn between starting Emma or S&S next!📚

spent the day writing my reports. i was studying in my dorm but then my friend invited me to her place so we spent hours together baking, studying, talking and just chilling. it was very nice<3. she gave me my new year’s gift and i gave her hers!!
