Morgana: The dishes.

Jack: Wh-

Morgana: They’ve been there for 4 days and it’s your turn to wash them. You still haven’t cleaned them and I have asked you to do so several times.

Morgana: I believe in you, Jack!

Jack, to themself: God, I must suck. The nicest thing Morgana can think to say to me is that they don’t doubt my existence.

Morgana: You’re a horrible person!

Jack: Maybe. But I’m rich and I’m pretty, so it doesn’t really matter.

"Merry what?" Morgana asked, looking at Jack in confusion as she strolls up, candy cane in hand and warm holly berry-red sweater on, "Jack, what's your damage with Christmas anyways? Sure, it's a 'feel good' holiday, but feeling good doesn't always have to mean being good, does it?" She asks, sucking on the candy as she waits to see what Jack has to say. She pauses though, to quickly add. "I mean, I'm down for scaring away carolers or whatever, I just wanna know why you're all paranoid."

"MORGANA?" Had they...had they seriously never had this talk before?

"I HATE Christmas and always will. I never got ANY GIFTS growing up. You know what my parents got me when I turned six? A phone call. Saying my gifts were LOST in the MAIL. And the only gifts I've gotten this year so far are PRANKS."

Morgana nearly dropped her candy cane, eyes growing bit as she brought a hand to her mouth, "Jack, that's so messed up." she said, moving over to put her head on the genius' shoulder, wrapping the arm not holding her candy around his shoulder. "Well, MY gift isn't gonna be a prank, I'll tell you that much." She assured, before pulling back and smiling at him warmly. "Ya know, if you don't have any plans this year, you could spend Christmas with me and my family. It's nothing too out there, but it might keep your mind off the past." she said, before smirking just a touch. "And it might also help prevent you from pulling a Grinch and trying to steal everyone else' presents."

Cue Morgana giving Jack big, soft-looking kitten eyes.

“But I’m just mimicking you. And you literally just said that mimicry is the sincerest form of flattery. So really, me taking you food is a way to show how much I like you, and that I’ve learnt from you.” Morgana dropped the look, flipping back on the couch and digging her spoon into the pudding, “if anything, you should feel proud, knowing you’ve left such an impact!”

Taking a bite of pudding, Morgana swallows before pointing the spoon at Terrell, “him though? Yeah, he’s just stealing from ya.”

"Morgana. You KNOW I don't actually mean what I say. You LISTEN to me when I spout that garbage?!" Oh boy. Wait. That didn't come out right.

"Look. I'm having a day to myself, everyone leave OR ELSE." Spicer is trying to sound threatening but honestly it's like a seven year old demanding a toy back.

Oh man, even the big kitten eyes didn’t get her leeway-those almost always worked!

Groaning, Morgana dramatically flopped onto her stomach, careful not to pull the remainder of her pudding cap as he pointed at the monk, “I feel like I’m being punished via association. I was just wanting to come by and see if you’d made anything new to brag about.” Morgana knew Jack LOVED to brag about his accomplishments, and she found it interesting to listen to him talk about them.

(That, and sometimes the break in building allowed the guy to get some much needed sleep and a shower after potentially DAYS of nonstop working!)

“But fine, if that’s what you want, I’ll go.” She said, finishing her snack in a few big bites before looking at Terrell, “You know how to get out of here safely?”

She wasn’t going to tell him how to bypass any systems Jack had in place, but she was curious about how messy their mutual departure might be.

"I DIDN'T THINK YOU'D ACTUALLY DO IT. STOP STEALING MY FOOD. DON'T YOU KNOW STEALING IS WRONG???" Jack Spicer is mostly glaring at Terrell. Since, you know, he claimed to be a good guy.

"Yeesh, you hurt my eyes, ya petty lunatic." Then he turns to Morgana. "If you just asked me, you can have some whenever you wanna!"

"...OK, but still it's baffling to me why you stay. You probably don't get paid enough for one; the guy's literally built robot minions, how's he to know what equity is, and two, I don't see how you think, in good conscience, it's a good idea to help a guy who wants to help a thousand-year-old witch bring about a thousand years of darkness? Why don't you yourself use your knowledge and experience for good; helping animals with that veterinary experience?"

However, upon being asked if he really wanted to steal the pudding, he, without even looking away from her, took the packs of them and opened one, spoon also in hand.

"He stole and ate my treats first, it's only fair."

"Ahh, he must not've told you that part about me! Not surprised though, he usually get too busy in his gloating." Morgana said with a laugh, pulling herself to sit properly on Jack's couch. "See, I do my best to avoid the whole 'good versus evil' thing like the plague. I'm neutral, through and through. So hey- you Xiaolin dudes get Jack to turn good? I have no issue with it. I don't think you can, but you're free to try!" Morgana said, her demeanor playful and bubbly. "So don't think of me as helping Jack take over the world. Think of me as someone with my own agenda who just happens to be friends with the guy who's trying to take over the world. Totally seperate things, right?" she asked, before pouting slightly. "The whole play of going to school is so I can be a vet and help out animals. You have no idea what it sounds like, what agony is in the yowls of a hurt cat, or the little sad whimpers of a puppy dog." For a moment, Morgana seemed to dwell on that last thought, eyes staring into space. Then, she quickly shook her head back and forth, snapping out of the odd fugue before continuing. "Anyways, just don't worry about me. I'm just around to make sure Jack doesn't get broken like a toothpick too often, and to make sure you all don't go too far in your 'good guy efforts.'" Morgana put the last three words in finger quotes, before sighing upon hearing Terrell wasn't going to put the pudding back. Instead, she got up from the seat and moved to the silverware drawer, getting her own spoon and swiping a cup of pudding from the Xiaolin dragon. "Consider it the price for not kicking your ass right here and now." She said with a sneaky grin, before peeling open the lid and taking a bite of the dessert.

She said, letting him digest her words for a moment before removing her hand. If she left it there too long, the weirdo might lick her palm to get her to back off! "Now that that's out of the way, tell me- exactly why do you need a body guard?"

"Because! Everyone is SOOOO mean to me!" Jack Spicer blurted with wide eyes, as soon as Morgana removed her hand. "The nerve! Ya'know how BORING the world would be if there were no villains?! I barely even get to have fun anymore. It's those know-it-all monks! What's the world coming to when a bad guy can't even BREATHE in the vicinity of wanna-be heroes without getting his butt kicked? They're not any fun anymore."

Morgana offered nothing but her patented flat stare, truly looking like a cat with the level of unamused she was currently. "Yeah, people don't like when you screw them over and then try to be around them. Novel concept, huh?" she asked, before softening her expression and pulling Jack into her side, letting him rest his head on her shoulder (their height difference making it do the genius' was half laying down!) "Didn't you tell me evil genius' didn't have friends? Heck, it took me nearly dying for you to admit we were friends." she said teasingly, pressing her cheek to the top of Jack's head affectionately. "Why're get sad, when you can get even?" And if Jack looked, the smile on Morgana's face was downright wicked in it's intentions. "I'll help you come up with a plan, if you like.~"

"Then why not just... y'know... retire from being Jack's entourage?" Terrell quipped up. "If you wanna get up n' go to college then who should he be to make you give up your dreams?"

Don't mind the Xiaolin Monk, he's here taking up Jack's "invitation" to break into his mansion and take HIS pudding for a change.

"Oh, don't get me wrong- there's ZERO chance I'd let Jack stop me from going to college. We've had that talk- if I'm busy with my veterinary science exam, he'll need to save his own butt." Morgana said, before shrugging and offering the monk a helpless smile. "Other than that...I just like him! For as much of an evil jerkwad he is, he can also be really charming. Y'know, in an awkward, clumsy way. Like a pug wearing an oversized hat!" Then, once she'd answered Terrell's question, Jillian arched an eyebrow, "Now...do you really wanna steal that pudding? I'm not gonna stop you this time, but only because I'm trying to choose the battles I fight for Jack better, and 'snack patrol' feels a little demeaning at this point."

A smirk crosses Morgana’s face, and her hand moves down from Jack’s forehead to instead poke his cheek, “Oh, is that right? Well, either you have the most petty stalker ever, or it sounds like a certain evil genius has a secret admirer.”

"How could I not know it? You may have a lot of claims to fame, but your humble nature has never been one of them." Morgana said with a laugh, laying her head on his shoulder and letting out a soft sigh. "You'll keep me posted, right? Whether I get to meet this clumsy romantic or help you deliver a beat down?"

“Nah, I think that’s just your allergies acting up. Want me to get Ro-med to get you some meds for it?” Morgana asks, reaching out to touch Jack’s forehead to see if she can sense any sign of fever.

"EHH, yeah, probably allergies. No need to alert Ro. Some twerp dropped off flowers at my doorstep yesterday. The exact kind I hate. It's like they knew." Jack Spicer sneezed again, hoping he didn't feel warm at all.
