He leans against the back of the couch, fingers picking at guitar strings absently while they talk. He’s actually kind of impressed that she brought it up– people aren’t usually so forward with him about this shit, and it’s something he likes about her. She’s quickly becoming one of his favorite people to hang out with.
“Oh, you couldn’t care less?” he asks, brows raising in amusement. “My bad, I guess I got confused because you just interrogated me like this is Dateline NBC or something.”
When she asks him why she’d be jealous, the smile twitches on his lips again, because, like, she does have a point. Someone that hot should never be jealous, honestly. “I dunno. You shouldn’t be, though, because you’re sexy.”
“I was just a bit annoyed that I had to find out about from someone else, and not you. It’s not really my business, though.. So whatever.”
His reaction wasn’t one she expected nor anticipated, but it wasn’t all too surprising. It excited her, he piqued her interest in a way most others usually couldn’t. She tries to feign disinterest, but the flattered smile plastered on her face nearly gives her away.
“’Kay, I’m gonna stop you right there.” She leans in towards him, purposely invading his personal space. She offered him a head tilt and a devious smile, “First you fuck my friend, and now it kiinda seems like you’re tryna do the same with me. What’s up with you?”
