Hi all, I have another prayer request similar to my last one from August. I didn’t get the job I applied for in August, not even an interview.

But an even better position that I’m excited about and qualified for opened up and I applied for that one a few weeks ago. I got an interview request almost immediately and I think the interview went pretty well. They have been very clear about the timeline and have provided timely updates on their decision process. They should be deciding on who to hire this week.

My prayer request is for wisdom and clarity for the hiring team, and patience and hope for me. I really need a new position, as my current job is draining the life out of me slowly. Any prayers would be highly appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who prayed. I did not get the job. They basically said I’m the perfect candidate and should apply again when the next cycle opens up and my availability is a little more free.

Fasting isn’t a big conversation right now since it’s not Lent but I just saw a sad excuse for a meme that implied that Catholics who don’t fast are weak and unworthy and I just want to say again: if you have an eating disorder you should not fast!! Do not encourage your disorder!!! God is not going to be mad that you are trying to stay healthy and alive by not relapsing or feeding your disorder!!! And anyone who makes you feel bad about that isn’t worth your time!!
