Ownership meant a physical copy. Now you own nothing and can't find what you want across multiple streaming platforms.
Bring back headphones that plug in. Bring back expandable memory. Bring back owning media.

I don't know how to tell you this. But the wizard in the picture is canonically Saruman.
#saruman's big artificials vs. gandalf's big naturals
Sorry to all my mutuals who have to see this the 19th of every month, but its just the law. I must do what the kbity says
Yep! It's the 19th!
The 19th of every month for the next 1,281 days, then
fuuuuck i just realized that the future idealized version of myself cant exist without current me being the catalyst for change and doing hard things. has anybody heard about this
this is it, this is all of it. By arguing about things like healthcare (including abortion, narcan, insulin, transition care), queer rights, environmental racism, infrastructure, war--all of these things. What you're arguing about it what lives are worth saving.
The answer is: All of them.
you say you hate cops and the military and people start talking about their family members like man idgaf your cousin is going to hell
i dont normally repost instagram shit but the wording of this comment is killing me. like the armored carapace of a beetle. phenomenal
My parents live in this town and the city legally canāt tear the tree down to build or anything because the tree has its own legal rights and they canāt do anything about it.
how does. how does this happen. how DID this happen
I love this story because this guy in the early 1800ās had so many great childhood memories of this tree and wanted to make sure it was protected no matter what. So he deeded the ownership of the tree to itself and everyone just went with it.
Then in 1942 this intense windstorm came and knocked the tree over. And people were bummed. But someone had saved an acorn from the original tree, so they planted that and now Son of the Tree That Owns Itself is over 50 feet tall.
And since this new tree is technically the offspring of the original tree itās considered to have legally inherited the plot of land itās inhabiting.
Two generations of trees owning land is amazing and if you donāt think this is the coolest thing get right out of my face.
Hereās a video so you can hear the water and the thrushes. I took it for you because you couldnāt be there. <3
Maybe a good day to reblog this one for anyone who needs to take a breath.
