at the beginning of freshman year, everyone was asked to write a letter to our future selves, which would be given back to us when we were seniors. now that i've just graduated high school today (class of 2020 RISE UP), i was given mine.

my past self asked a lot of questions, like whether or not i was proud of my art (which i wasn't back then, i am now) and at the bottom, gave me something to redraw to show how much my art has changed in the course of four years. the difference really surprised me; i had no idea my art would change this much. but this is just another stepping stone in my life, and there's still a lot more improving to be done. i only hope to get better from here 🎓
