To distract from the anxiety of waiting on numbers to rolling in today, I want to tap that unified energy we feel in the moment of preforming our civic duty when and where possible. Fabulous fashion finds + Fantastic friendship = I'm feline soooo ready for the next Ladies Only Clothing Swap at Ballard Alki Odd Fellows Lodge coming up on Sunday, Sept. 30 at 5pm - 8pm >^.^< If going please know... DO: Bring all of your gently used ladies' clothing, shoes, and accessories and come prepared to try on and take anything you like! This is a FREE event, although a $10 contribution to the Odd Fellows for donating the hall to us again is kindly requested. In addition to all of your awesome clothing, please consider bringing non- perishable food for the food bank, snacks we can eat in the break room, shopping bags, garbage bags, and extra non-wire hangers for the Jubilee Women's Center 'store.' It's ok if you don't have a lot of clothes to bring! Come anyhow and get yourself some. Please sort your clothes by size (12 and under = S/M, 14 and over = L/XL) and type (skirts, dresses, pants, tops, etc) either beforehand or once you arrive at the space. This is a very large event and it's necessary to create some order within the chaos. Leftover items will be donated to Jubilee Women's Center. NOT OKAY: Clothes that "could be good to paint in," wet, stained, got some holes, could use repair, worn out shoes, broken belts. This is a swap, not a dumping ground. If it's not in good enough condition for your best friend, it's not good enough for us. Do NOT Bring: boys, men, or anyone under the age of 14. Remember - babies are under 14. Please do not bring baby clothes, men's clothes, or children's clothes or stuff.
