If you couldn’t tell already, NASA is having a great year. From Pluto to food grown in space, even in the face of budget cuts, the nation’s space agency had some stellar highlights. Most mysteriously of all, a spacecraft found two eerily bright lights on a distant dwarf planet.
The saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies.

I want you to hold my hand while we grocery shop. I want you to play with my hair while we watch our favorite tv shows. I want you to kiss me in the middle of my sentence because you wanted to taste my words. I want you to rub my back as we fall asleep. I want you to play my favorite song when I look sad. I want you to do these things without having to think about them. Do them because you love me.

“People are afraid of themselves, of their own reality; their feelings most of all. People talk about how great love is, but that’s bullshit. Love hurts. Feelings are disturbing. People are taught that pain is evil and dangerous. How can they deal with love if they’re afraid to feel? Pain is meant to wake us up. People try to hide their pain. But they’re wrong. Pain is something to carry, like a radio. You feel your strength in the experience of pain. It’s all in how you carry it. That’s what matters. Pain is a feeling. Your feelings are a part of you. Your own reality. If you feel ashamed of them, and hide them, you’re letting society destroy your reality. You should stand up for your right to feel your pain.”

Nothing ever ends poetically. It ends and we turn it into poetry. All that blood was never once beautiful. It was just red.

The feeling of Sunday is the same everywhere, heavy, melancholy, standing still.

your 20’s are your ‘selfish’ years. its a decade to immerse yourself in every single thing possible. be selfish with your time, and all the aspects of you. tinker with shit, travel, explore, love a lot, love a little and never touch the ground.

For the first time ever, Australia has been named on the Human Rights Watch list in 2014 and 2015.
The report criticises our treatment of asylum seekers, the high levels of Aboriginal incarceration and death from treatable and preventable conditions, the lack of support for the disabled with 45% of Australians with disabilities living near or below the poverty line, refusal to adopt marriage equality, and our new anti-terror and data retention laws.

Like it’s ok for white people from the UK or Australia or the USA to move countries to seek a better lifestyle but once you’re a different ethnicity it’s like “UR TAKING OUR JOBZ!!!!”
Sometimes I remind myself that I almost skipped the party, that I almost went to a different college, that the whim of a minute could have changed everything and everyone. Our lives, so settled, so specific, are built on happenstance.

Piglet sidled up to Pooh from behind. “Pooh?” he whispered. “Yes, Piglet?” “Nothing,” said Piglet, taking Pooh’s hand. “I just wanted to be sure of you.”

The sign of intelligence is that you are constantly wondering. Idiots are always dead sure about every damn thing they are doing in their life.

Every post is just making me angrier
I’m literally furious.
There’s no evidence that men’s libidos render them incapable of moral behavior, but cultures which reinforce the idea that men have irrepressible sexual urges certainly give men permission to act as if their libido renders them incapable of moral behavior.
