My first Erasmus+ project
Hello! How y'all doing? Today I'm going to write about my first Erasmus+ project and journey to Turkey. So at first, I didn't want to participate in Erasmus+, and I was pretty lazy to write a motivational letter. But I still did it and got accepted ( I needed to write to my school and not to international). Truly. Turkey was unexpected because I chose Greece (where I want to go). But I went to Turkey because not many students wanted to go there. But oh my lord, I didn't expect to be that awesome. So on January 13th, we're flying to Turkey. We'd more than one flight. At first, we flew to Kiev, then to Istambul, then to Antalya and finally, bus pick us and drove to Manavgat (where we were staying). We lived in families (another great experience). My family was amazing. Surely, all Turkish people are sweet and friendly. Sadly, the language barrier made our communication harder. But we still had managed to talk to each other. I met such many brilliant people. Not only Turkish but I go to know people from Hungary, Spain, Italy. I saw marvelous places in Manavgat and Antalya. Still, we weren't only tourists. We needed to make a presentation about common addictions in Lithuania. We needed to make posters in international groups. One more thing I liked is that every evening we went to cafes. It was an excellent opportunity to get to know each other more. There were happening a lot of things that I can't write everything here. Openly talking, last evening I cried. It was just too sad to leave. I certainly didn't want to go back to Lithuania. Nevertheless, we on January 18th came back home. I still miss all of those people. Honestly I not only get to know foreigners, but I got closer with Lithuanian students. Erasmus+ project is a truly excellent opportunity. I can confidently say if you ever have a chance to participate in Erasmus+, do it!! You won't regret it. Thank you for reading this post. See you next time! ʕ •ᴥ• ʔ
P.S. Quarantine is still going in my school.
